Founded in 2014 with the goal of promoting outdoor adventure sports such as kite surf, surf, stand up paddle (SUP), mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, and scuba diving, North Shore Elements brings together various sports associations which offer excursions and courses and give tourists and locals alike the chance to get closer to the breathtaking natural environment of our mediterranean island. Practicing these various sports instills a respect for nature and helps foster increased overall awareness of the environment and our natural surroundings. Our name “North Shore Elements” is inspired by the geographical area where we live and play: the northwest coast of Sardinia. Sardinian sports tourism, especially related to these “extreme” water sports, has been increasing in recent years, in particular in the areas of Valledoria, Badesi, and Palau. We can no longer ignore the potential these sports have to boost the tourism economy in our local area, as well as to transform our island into a mecca for nature and sports enthusiasts. The objective of North Shore Elements is to help this budding sports based tourism grow sustainably, putting Sardinia on the map for sports enthusiasts from all over the world. North Shore Elements was born out of the desire to unite people who share a passion for these sports, creating a group of enthusiasts with whom to practice these sports in the safest circumstances possible.
