It is about feeling that the frame underneath you was made with care, with history, with hands, with heart. This Borea is made in Italy, one piece at a time, for riders who still believe a bicycle can have character.

TOO CUSTOM, EVEN FOR US.

Costruire una bici su misura, questa volta, non bastava.

Francesco non ci ha chiesto semplicemente una Borea Gravel costruita sulle sue misure e verniciata nei colori che preferiva. Voleva qualcosa che non avevamo mai realizzato prima: una bicicletta capace di incorporare immagini, simboli e frammenti della sua storia.

Un progetto troppo custom persino per noi.

Per questo, ancora prima di costruire il telaio definitivo, abbiamo coinvolto un’artista: Irene Campinoti, anche lei di San Miniato.

In questo video vi mostriamo l’inizio del percorso: le conversazioni con Francesco, le prime prove di colore, i disegni e una serie di suggestioni che devono ancora trovare la loro forma definitiva.

Il risultato non esiste ancora.

Per ora ci sono soltanto alcuni tubi verniciati, molti appunti e una direzione ancora tutta da decidere.

Questa è la prima parte di una custom gravel bike interamente progettata, costruita e dipinta in Toscana.

Questa bici è partita dalla nostra officina in Toscana ed è arrivata a Pavia.

A renderla ancora più speciale, per noi, è il fatto che il suo nuovo proprietario sia un meccanico di biciclette: una persona che le bici non le guarda soltanto, le conosce davvero.

Linee pulite, carbonio, dettagli eleganti.
Prestazione senza bisogno di gridare.

The New Griffe takes on a warmer, more refined character in this bronze finish, but its identity remains the same: a true steel road frame built for riders who still appreciate balance, elegance and real riding feel. The formula is beautifully simple: Columbus SL tubing, slim steel tubes, rim brakes and quick-release wheels, all brought into the present with clearance for tyres up to 28 mm and fender mounts for a practical commuting setup as well. It is classic, yes, but not outdated. It is classic in the best sense: essential, functional and still absolutely relevant.

Restoring a vintage Colnago — Part 3.

This time, the fork.

The fork on this old Colnago frame was badly misaligned, and together with the damage on the frame it made the bike almost two centimetres shorter than it should have been.

That is not just a cosmetic problem.
It changes how a bicycle rides, how it handles, and how much confidence it gives to the rider.

Before thinking about paint, chrome or final beauty, a proper restoration has to bring the bicycle back to its geometry.

And for this kind of work, one of the most effective tools we still use was built by Giuseppe, our grandfather.

Old steel, old tools, old knowledge.
Still doing their job.

Nero, rosso, giallo.

Questo Noah freni rim nasce con un carattere molto diverso dal solito: più racing, più diretto, quasi motorsport.

Non è una bici che cerca di essere neutra.
Non è una bici che vuole piacere a tutti.

È un telaio in carbonio su misura, costruito e verniciato a San Miniato, con un’idea precisa: velocità, personalità e una scelta tecnica che qualcuno considera superata, ma che per molti ciclisti resta ancora bellissima.

Some colours don’t feel like they were picked from a catalogue, but found inside an old Italian garage. This Periwinkle blue recalls certain Fiat and Alfa Romeo cars, light bodies, racing details, and a kind of elegance that never needed to shout. On a steel Borea Corse, it feels just right: refined, technical, a little nostalgic, but still very much alive.
