A European event at home for the Italian Team, as last year they won ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ž๐๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ closing in second place on the Medal Table, just behind Romania. It was a very balanced edition, eighteen of the twenty-seven nations entered won at least one medal. ๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅ‰
The largest number of entries was for the U19 menโ€™s quadruple sculls with ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ฐ๐ฌ. Unusual, considering that in general the U19 womenโ€™s single sculls record the highest participation. This was confirmed by the womenโ€™s participation of 16 singles at the start.
The 2022 edition will be even more prestigious. In 2021 the event took place in October, after the World Championships.
