1949: was founded and in the same year it soon installed the longest chair lift in Europe.

1965: the chair lift system was renewed introducing Bidonvia Selva – Dantecepies.

1975: Dantercepies brought in Selva the first automatic hook-up system in Italy.

1992: the chair lift system was renewed once more introducing a 6 seats cable car with a capacity of 2.200 people per hour.

2010: nowadays the company manages 3 car lift systems with completely artificial snowmaking equipment ski runs.

The Olympic Torch continues its journey — and tomorrow, 28 January, the Flame will ski across one of the most iconic routes in the Dolomites: the Sellaronda.

Entering the slopes from Dantercepies, this marks a special and symbolic moment for Val Gardena, before continuing towards Val di Fassa.
Starting at 8:15 AM, the Olympic Flame will travel across snow, lifts and mountains, bringing the Olympic spirit into the very heart of the Dolomites.

Special opening at Dantercepies
To allow guests to witness this unique moment, the Dantercepies gondola will open at 7:30 AM for a single uphill ride only, giving access to the top station to watch the Olympic Torch.
The regular ski pass is valid for this special opening.
The gondola will then close again and reopen normally at 8:30 AM.

A unique morning on the slopes, where sport, landscape and Olympic history meet.

To end the summer season, we traded the Dolomites for one day of Lake Garda views — hiking, cheering, laughing and soaking up the sunshine on Monte Baldo. ☀️🏔️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone in our crew for an incredible season and to Funivia Monte Baldo for the great hospitality, a beautiful example of collaboration between mountains. 🙌💙

Great views and good laughs — the perfect way to start the countdown to winter! ❄️

Our summer at Dantercepies was full of hikes, bikes, ferratas 🚴‍♂️🧗 and plenty of good food that made every break taste like a reward! 🥂
A huge thanks to everyone who joined us on the mountain!
