June has been a month we will never forget.
After months of design, simulations, manufacturing, testing, setbacks and late nights, we finally arrived at the SuMoth Challenge with Meravijosa.
For the first time, we saw everything come together: the hull touching the water, the systems working, the foils lifting, and our Moth flying. Seeing something that existed only on our screens and in our workshop become a real racing boat is a feeling difficult to describe.
The week was intense, challenging and incredibly rewarding. We shared the boat park with amazing teams from all over the world, exchanging ideas, solving problems together and learning every single day. The atmosphere created by the SuMoth community was truly inspiring and reminded us why we love this challenge so much.
And of course, not everything went according to plan.
During the event, our wings broke and for a moment it seemed like our competition could be over. Instead, thanks to the determination, creativity and teamwork of everyone involved, we rebuilt them from scratch using steel and, just a few hours later, the boat was back on the water and ready to race again.
The improvised steel wings quickly became one of the symbols of our week. What started as an emergency repair turned into one of the most iconic stories of the event, earning them a new name that will stay with us for a long time: the legendary “Ferrazze.”
Moments like these define a team far more than the results.
This week gave us unforgettable memories, new friendships, valuable lessons and the confirmation that every hour invested throughout the year was worth it.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, believed in the project and followed our journey.
This is not the end of the story. It’s only the beginning.
