This october LIVE THE DREAM: come to Rome and run the Rome Half Marathon in the very heart of the city!
Navona Square is one of the most spectacular and characteristic squares of Rome, built on the remains of the Stadium of Domitian: the shape of the current square reproduces precisely the perimeter of the ancient stadium that the emperor built in 86 AD.
The square is dominated by the Church of Sant’Agnese in Agone, and adorned by three fountains: Fontana del Moro, so-called for the statue of the Ethiopian fighting with a dolphin, Fontana de ‘Calderari, also known as the Fountain of Neptune and, in the centre, the imposing Fountain of the Four Rivers, by Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
And yes, we’ll be running here, surrounded by eternity 🔥

La place Navone est l’une des plus spectaculaires et emblématiques de Rome. Construite sur les vestiges du stade de Domitien, sa forme actuelle reproduit fidèlement le périmètre de l’ancien stade érigé par l’empereur en 86 après J.-C.
Dominée par l’église Sant’Agnese in Agone, la place est ornée de trois fontaines : la Fontana del Moro, ainsi nommée en raison de la statue de l’Éthiopien combattant un dauphin ; la Fontana de ‘Calderari, également connue sous le nom de fontaine de Neptune ; et, au centre, l’imposante fontaine des Quatre-Fleuves, œuvre de Gian Lorenzo Bernini.
