Run Rome The Marathon is not just a sporting challenge, it’s an extraordinary example of sustainability and love for the city.

Thanks to the work of roma, nothing goes to waste.

♻️ What happens in practice?

- Food Recovery: surplus food collected during the race is redistributed to organizations supporting people in need.
- Circular Clothing Economy: 2,084 kg of clothing were collected, left by runners at the start, knowing they would be donated to charity.
- Sanitization and Donation: clothes in good condition are cleaned and donated directly.
- Social Innovation: "Donated items that cannot be reused are transformed into warm blankets for Rome's homeless.

❤️ Why does it matter? This project shows how collaboration between major events and local organizations can create real impact. Every step taken by the runners becomes tangible support for those in need, turning waste into warmth and nourishment.

Grazie al lavoro del roma, nulla va perduto.

♻️ Cosa viene fatto concretamente?

- Recupero Alimentare: raccolta di tutto il cibo in eccedenza durante la gara per redistribuirlo alle associazioni che assistono le persone in difficoltà.
- Economia Circolare dei Vestiti: raccolti 2.084 kg di indumenti lasciati dai runner alla partenza, consapevoli che sarebbero andati in beneficenza.
- Sanificazione e Donazione: i vestiti in buono stato vengono igienizzati e donati direttamente.
- Innovazione Sociale: i capi donati che non possono essere riutilizzati vengono trasformati in calde coperte per i senzatetto di Roma.

❤️ Perché è importante?
Questo progetto dimostra come la collaborazione tra grandi eventi e realtà locali possa creare un impatto reale.
Ogni passo dei runner si trasforma in un aiuto concreto per chi ha più bisogno, trasformando lo spreco in calore e nutrimento.
