Nel panorama internazionale del Wing Chun, Sifu Jesper Lundqvist rappresenta una figura autentica e controcorrente. Nato in Danimarca, ha dedicato la sua vita alla ricerca del vero Kung Fu, arrivando a lasciare una vita comoda per trasferirsi a Foshan, in Cina, culla delle arti marziali tradizionali.
Da tempo vive immerso in questo ambiente, studiando direttamente con maestri locali, approfondendo non solo l'aspetto tecnico del Wing Chun ma anche quello culturale e filosofico.
Il suo lavoro non si limita alla pratica: è un vero promotore della cultura del Kung Fu tradizionale. Attraverso interviste, documentari, seminari e viaggi studio, ha creato un ponte tra Oriente e Occidente, permettendo a molti praticanti di entrare in contatto con le radici autentiche dell'arte.
La sua ricerca è guidata da un principio semplice ma raro: andare oltre le apparenze, oltre le interpretazioni moderne o commerciali, per comprendere il Wing Chun nella sua essenza più profonda.
Per quanto mi riguarda, voglio esprimere il mio rispetto per il percorso che ha intrapreso e per la dedizione che dimostra ogni giorno.
Allo stesso tempo, considero un valore importante l'amicizia che si è creata nel tempo, fatta di confronto, studio e condivisione reale, senza filtri.
Ti ringrazio sinceramente per tutto il tempo passato insieme a implementare, approfondire e vivere il Wing Chun. Sono momenti che hanno arricchito il mio percorso, sia marziale che umano.

In the international Wing Chun landscape, Sifu Jesper Lundqvist stands out as an authentic and counter-current figure. Born in Denmark, he has dedicated his life to the pursuit of true Kung Fu, even leaving a comfortable life behind to move to Foshan, China—the cradle of traditional martial arts.
He has lived immersed in this environment for a long time, studying directly under local masters and deepening his understanding of not only the technical aspects of Wing Chun but its cultural and philosophical roots as well.

His research is guided by a simple yet rare principle: to go beyond appearances and beyond modern or commercial interpretations to understand Wing Chun in its deepest essence.
As for me, I want to express my respect for the path he has taken and for the dedication he demonstrates every day.
