SDSS: The Society for Documentation of Submerged Sites 👍

Among the many tools we use in the archaeological investigations at the archaeological site of the Battle of the , metal detectors play an important role by allowing the initial localization of metallic objects buried beneath the seabed sediments.

Finding instruments capable of operating at depths greater than 80 meters has not been easy. One of the models that proved suitable for this purpose is the CEIA mod. CMD®/DW, which we have used with excellent results, and through which we have found in this company a careful and fundamental technical partner for our missions.

It is important to emphasize that the use of these instruments, especially in archaeological areas, can take place only within the framework of official operations and under the supervision of the competent authorities.

First, try diving with your chosen GUE instructor without a commitment to a course. GUE’s Discover Diving program is designed as an introduction for individuals with no previous scuba diving experience. This program does not result in certification but can serve as an introduction to a course or as a standalone experience. This experience will show you what you are really signing up for, what the training will look like, and help you determine if you and the instructor are a good fit.

Per prima cosa, prova a immergerti con l'istruttore GUE che hai scelto, senza impegnarti in un corso. Il programma Discover Diving della GUE è pensato come un'introduzione per chi non ha precedenti esperienze subacquee. Questo programma non porta al rilascio di una certificazione, ma può fungere da introduzione a un corso o da esperienza a sé stante. Questa esperienza ti mostrerà cosa ti stai realmente proponendo, come sarà l'addestramento e ti aiuterà a capire se tu e l'istruttore siete la coppia giusta.
