The admission of the Burkina Faso Ministry of Sports, Youth and Employment as a National Member reflects the country’s strong dedication to promoting physical activity, youth development, and community well-being through sport. By joining World Sport for All, Burkina Faso becomes part of a growing international network of governments, federations, and organizations working together to make sport a fundamental right for every individual.

This membership will enable Burkina Faso to access international expertise, participate in global Sport for All initiatives, and collaborate with other member countries on projects related to grassroots sport, health promotion, social inclusion, and youth empowerment. The Alliance of Independent Recognised Members of Sport (AIMS) has officially launched its Sport Integrity Education Programme, reinforcing its commitment to education, prevention and the protection of the fundamental values of sport.

The programme combines interactive learning with case studies, factsheets, video resources and practical materials, enabling participants to translate sport-integrity principles into concrete action. The curriculum focuses on four key pillars:
- Corruption – identifying and preventing corrupt practices in sport
- Doping – understanding and upholding anti-doping principles and standards
- Sport Manipulation – recognising and responding to the manipulation of competitions
- Safeguarding – addressing harassment, bullying, abuse and threats arising through social media and other environments

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants receive an official certificate, recognising their commitment to strengthening integrity standards within their organisations and the wider sporting community.

FISpT's Board Approves 2026–2028 Strategic Plan for Global Sport for All

The International Sport for All Federation (FISpT) is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors has formally approved the FISpT Strategic Plan 2026–2028, a three-year roadmap designed to transform the federation’s long-standing IOC recognition and historical legacy into visible services for members and concrete Sport for All impact worldwide.

Positioning FISpT as an action-oriented, consultative and globally relevant Sport for All federation, the new plan shifts focus from institutional preservation to visible service delivery for members, partners and communities. It outlines a clear path to build a credible governance and membership platform, launch practical Sport for All programmes and annual campaigns, strengthen partnerships with key global actors, develop a knowledge and observatory role, and refresh the federation’s identity, including a proposed rebranding under a clearer global name.

The Strategic Plan will now be submitted to the FISpT membership for consideration and approval. Members are invited to review the document carefully and submit their comments, observations and proposed amendments before the final approval process.

The Plan is designed to move FISpT from institutional preservation towards visible, practical and member-focused delivery. It seeks to build on FISpT’s history, international standing and IOC recognition by creating a stronger governance and membership platform, delivering practical Sport for All programmes, expanding strategic partnerships and positioning the Federation as a credible contributor to global Sport for All policy and practice.

“By approving this plan, the Board has sent a strong signal that FISpT is ready to move from recognition to delivery,” stated the FISpT CEO, Marco Tomasini. “Our goal is to become the global Sport for All federation that connects policy to practice and supports national systems with real tools, not just titles.”

A dedicated section of the plan also proposes a rebranding of the federation from “Fédération Internationale du Sport pour Tous (FISpT)” to the operating name “World Sport for All,” aligning with the trend of “World …” names within the Olympic Movement while preserving FISpT’s legal identity and legacy. This rebranding aims to provide a clearer, more accessible global identity for the federation and its campaigns.

“Sport for All needs organisations that connect global vision with local reality,” the FISpT CEO added. “With this plan, we are committing FISpT to become that bridge – from policy to practice, from recognition to real impact.”

Members are encouraged to submit comments that are specific, constructive and supported by practical recommendations. Contributions from National Members, Individual Members, Committee Members, International Federation Members, International Organisation Members and Associate Members will all be considered within the applicable governance framework.

The International Sport for All Federation is proud to unveil its new brand identity and logo, marking an important milestone in the Federation’s ongoing strategic evolution and reinforcing its commitment to a more dynamic, inclusive, and globally engaged future.

The new brand, World Sport for All, reflects the Federation’s international vocation while remaining firmly anchored in its core mission: promoting sport for everyone, everywhere, without barriers.

The new logo has been designed around a powerful and symbolic visual concept. It depicts five interwoven human figures, representing the five continents and the spirit of cooperation that unites the global sport for all movement. Together, these figures form a circle, evoking unity, continuity, and collective strength. The circular shape also recalls the Olympic circle, underscoring the Federation’s historic and enduring connection with the Olympic movement and the IOC.

The logo’s five colors mirror the colors of the Olympic rings, further strengthening this symbolic link and expressing a shared commitment to universality, harmony, and mutual respect. At the same time, the graphic composition suggests the image of a globe, emphasizing that the Federation’s vision is truly worldwide and built on a common effort to bring people together through sport.

A central feature of the new design is its clear commitment to inclusion. The five figures are intentionally non-gendered and diverse in appearance, reflecting a federation that does not distinguish between men and women, cultures, abilities, or backgrounds. This is inclusion at 365 degrees: open, modern, and fully aligned with the values of participation, accessibility, and equality.

The choice of the name World Sport for All has also been made with strategic intent. The word “World” highlights the Federation’s international and global dimension, while “Sport for All” expresses its main mission and the guiding principle of its work: sport as a universal right and a shared opportunity for all people. This naming structure is in line with the broader trend among international sporting organizations and governing bodies to modernize their identities while maintaining continuity with their institutional purpose.

As part of this evolution, it is important to clarify that the Federation’s statutory name will remain the historic Fédération Internationale du Sport pour Tous, in full respect of its tradition, legal identity, and heritage. The new brand identity therefore does not replace the Federation’s history; rather, it builds upon it, bringing renewed energy, clarity, and contemporary relevance to a respected international institution.

This partnership represents an important recognition of FISpT’s long-standing commitment to making sport accessible, inclusive, and meaningful for all people, regardless of age, background, ability, or location. Through this collaboration, FISpT will support the European Week of Sport’s mission to inspire more people to move more, live healthier lives, and strengthen community participation through sport.

FISpT welcomes this opportunity to contribute to a Europe-wide movement that connects sporting organizations, public authorities, schools, communities, and citizens around a shared vision of active living and social inclusion.
