Super sets are a great way to get a workout within a short space of time.
All a superset is working 2 exercises at 1 time, so in this example, I used pull-ups and push-ups.
I will alternate between the 2 exercises. There are different kinds of supersets, which I will go over in other videos.
In this video, I was specifically using an "antagonistic superset," where I train muscle groups that work opposite each other. Eg: pulling (back and biceps) as well as pushing (chest and triceps)

Benefits of zombie squats.

1. Upright torso

Because the bar is resting on your shoulders without support from your hands, you are forced to keep an upright posture, or else it'll just slide off your shoulders.

2. Leg strength quad emphasis

This exercise being a squat is going to be a leg exercise. It focuses more on your quads, similar to a front squat. The weight being in front of your body forces you to keep an upright posture and create more knee flexion, so that's gonna put a bit more stress on your quads when training.

3. Strengthen core and mid back

Because your hands are supporting the body to keep it on your shoulders. This makes your core and midbag. Work extra hard to keep your body upright.

4. Helps keep good squat posture

The emphasis that this exercise makes in keeping an upright torso is very important when it comes to doing other squat variations because having good core bracing and an upright body is gonna help you with preventing back injuries when doing squats and other daily life activities.

3 Things to think about in order to build muscle.

1. Mechanical tension (resistance working against your muscles)
2. Muscle damage (microscopic tears to muscle usually a result of mechanical tension)
3. Metabolic stress (You ever heard the phrase "FEEL THE BURN ๐Ÿ”ฅ" associated with working out. It's usually used to describe metabolic stress and the build-up of metabolic byproducts like lactic acid, for example. You know that you are experiencing it when "YOU FEEL THE BURN ๐Ÿ”ฅ ".
