🇮🇹 Nel 2025 fu la sfida maschile per il podio della UTCC – Ultra Trail Chianti Castles (120 km) a infiammare il pubblico: Jim Walmsley si impose davanti a Kilian Jornet e Vincent Bouillard, protagonisti di una battaglia bellissima.

Nel 2026 è stata invece la gara femminile a regalarci spettacolo, con lo straordinario duello tra Yngvild Kaspersen e Courtney Dauwalter, seguite a poca distanza da Rachel Entrekin.

E nel 2027? Chi infiammerà i sentieri del Chianti?

🇬🇧 In 2025, it was the men’s battle for the podium at the UTCC – Ultra Trail Chianti Castles (120 km) that thrilled the crowd: Jim Walmsley took the win ahead of Kilian Jornet and Vincent Bouillard, who delivered an incredible battle.

In 2026, it was the women’s race that stole the show, with an outstanding duel between Yngvild Kaspersen and Courtney Dauwalter, with Rachel Entrekin close behind.

And in 2027? Who will set the Chianti trails on fire?

🇮🇹 Dopo l’ultima, durissima salita, Radda in Chianti è finalmente lì. Ancora pochi passi verso il traguardo, nel cuore del paese, accompagnati dagli applausi di chi aspetta, incita e condivide ogni emozione fino all’ultimo metro.

🇬🇧 After the final, brutal climb, Radda in Chianti is finally in sight. Just a few more steps to the finish line, in the heart of the village, welcomed by the applause of those waiting, cheering and sharing every emotion until the very last metre.

🇮🇹Per Ivan Cappellari, atleta adaptive non vedente, e Anna Lia Chiti, la sua guida, l’OCC è stata molto più di una gara: la prima volta nelle Valli del Monte Bianco da corridori, il coronamento di un sogno inseguito a lungo e un’avventura vissuta insieme, passo dopo passo.

La loro corsa si è conclusa a un cancello orario, come quella di molti altri atleti, proprio quando le gambe andavano alla grande. Ma il valore di questa esperienza va molto oltre un traguardo: essere partiti da Orsières per meriti propri, senza un pettorale riservato, è già un grandissimo risultato.

Resta la gioia di aver visto un sogno realizzarsi, l’orgoglio per quanto hanno costruito e la consapevolezza di aver fatto tesoro di un’esperienza in una delle corse più selettive al mondo. La voglia di riscatto è tanta: chissà che l’appuntamento non sia già per il prossimo anno.

🇬🇧For Ivan Cappellari, a blind adaptive athlete, and his guide Anna Lia Chiti, the OCC was much more than a race: their first time in the Mont Blanc Valleys as runners, the fulfilment of a long-held dream and an adventure experienced together, step by step.

Their race came to an end at a cut-off point, as it did for many other athletes, just as their legs had started to feel good. But the value of this experience goes far beyond the finish line: starting in Orsières on their own merit, without a reserved bib, was already a remarkable achievement.

What remains is the joy of seeing a dream come true, pride in all they have built and the awareness that they have gained invaluable experience in one of the world’s most selective races. The desire to come back stronger is already there: perhaps next year will bring another chance.

🇮🇹La settimana di HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc regala sempre grandi emozioni: per noi è un momento di incontro, formazione e sport vissuto da vicino.

Quest’anno, per il team di Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB, c’è stata anche una sorpresa speciale: il nostro Direttore di Gara, Matteo Matteuzzi, ha ricevuto il Moment of the Year Award durante la serata riservata ai Race Directors.

Un riconoscimento che ci rende ancora più orgogliosi di ciò che abbiamo costruito insieme negli anni e che ci dà nuova energia per guardare al futuro.

🇬🇧HOKA UTMB Mont-Blanc week always brings great emotions: for us, it is a time to meet, learn and experience trail running up close.

This year, the Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB team received a special surprise too: our Race Director, Matteo Matteuzzi, was awarded the Moment of the Year Award during the evening dedicated to Race Directors.

Recognition that makes us even prouder of what we have built together over the years, and gives us fresh energy to look towards the future.

🇮🇹 Un tardo pomeriggio di trail running, incontri e brindisi all’Ultra-Trail Village! 🍷
Il Vibram Apéro ha riunito le community di Monte Rosa Walserwaeg by UTMB, Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB e Puglia by UTMB allo stand Vibram: un appuntamento molto partecipato, tra sorrisi, chiacchiere e tanta voglia di condividere la passione per i sentieri.
Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno reso possibile questo bellissimo momento di condivisione!

🇮🇹 Dopo 46 km e 1.650 metri di dislivello positivo, ogni energia è stata lasciata sul percorso. Al traguardo della Chianti Marathon Trail 50K resta solo la verità della fatica — e la soddisfazione di aver dato tutto.

🇬🇧 After 46 km and 1,650 metres of elevation gain, every last bit of energy has been left out on the course. At the finish line of the Chianti Marathon Trail 50K, all that remains is the truth of the effort — and the satisfaction of having given everything.
