Super excited for the 2026 race season with Kú cycle.

We just finished our second session at the velodrome in Amsterdam testing for the optimal aerodynamic position and kit. This team and support is definitely the next level from 2025.

Season starts next weekend at Ironman 70.3 Valencia. A first chance to test the form as we build into a big year ahead!

Slowly chipping away ⚒️

Rankings come down to two things: staying healthy and performing when it matters.

I’ve been pretty consistent overall. 2021 gave me a big boost (one race switched to a duathlon), 2023 did the opposite with injury limiting my season.

I’ve always been proud of my patience, I didn’t copy the top guys because I wasn’t one. I did what I needed to do to get slightly better each year. Sure you can go all in and probably get better quicker, but the risk of burn out is high.

Your head and heart has to be in the game to perform year after year. Leaving no stone unturned is as much about turning them over at the right time as it is about turning them over at all.

2026 is on the horizon and I’m looking forward to what will come 👊🏼

Proud of this year and privileged to have so many people supporting me from when I first started to where I’m at now.

P4

Came into this race ranked number 1, something that still feels pretty surreal as I still remember looking up to those top ranked guys at the Challenge races a few years ago when I desperately tried to make a top 10 or 15.

Like most triathlons there were obstacles to overcome but everyone deals with them in races so I’ll avoid making a list of excuses. In sport you can decide if you are happy or disappointed with your result but when is there to support me after managing a super tough EBV the past few months and this weeks training partner crashed out of T1 with a flat tyre I am reminded just to be happy to make a pro finish line and for an 11th time this season.

4th place is great, the field here were super strong - especially the podium. I did my best on the day and also had the fastest bike split riding from P20 out the swim to P3 off the bike. I am even somehow still learning lessons about 35+ half distance races into my career 😅 Thanks everyone in my corner this season. It’s been a good one ☝️but maybe isn’t over yet…

07:41:40 for my first ‘Iron’ distance to become long distance champion 🇪🇺

My 10th pro race of the season and my 6th podium 🤯 I’d be lying if I said I didn’t felt out my depth the back end of the bike. I really hadn’t prepared properly as full distance is not a focus for me right now.

I felt pretty awful after 150km and have never ran over 30km so the thought of my first marathon was not a positive one. I managed to get myself to T2 without dropping off the pace too much and still had no real excuse to stop so I just got the ball rolling with no care for pace or position.

Got back into a flow fairly quick and pretty much ran 3:48 per KM on repeat until near the end where I had nothing to loose so just started running as hard as I could. Next thing I know I’ve set up a sprint at the end of my first marathon, so I now need to run even harder.

I arrived, composed myself and then went. I put my heart in this. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m glad it did this time because I got to share a beer with the black armband on my sleeve afterwards.

Thank you to my key sponsors and as well as my other sponsors, friends and family. You’re all legends.

long course champion 🇪🇺💐

An emotional day, dedicated to my amazing late friend

Earlier in the year shared - it really shared positivity and inspiration from such an unimaginablely difficult situation.

To me should mean spend another moment…

Spend another moment appreciating your supporters, spend another moment for those that are there for you no questions asked, spend another moment knowing how lucky you are to have these people in your life.

Thank you to everyone who followed along and reached out to say well done. I didn’t make that easy for myself, neither did 🤝 but with a few KM left I said f**k it, all in, there’s pain worse than this that doesn’t have a finish line.

This weekend I’ll compete at the European long course championships representing Great Britain.

This triathlon (Challenge Almere) in its 44th edition is the oldest in Europe and second oldest in history only to Kona, the birthplace of triathlon.

The race will be a 3.8km swim, 180km bike and a 42.2km marathon run. Equal in distance to an Ironman but held under different branding from the European Triathlon Union and Challenge Family.

It’ll be tough, but I’m excited to try this longer distance after a great year racing half of it!

P1 Challenge Samarkand 🇺🇿🥇

This was another step towards the life I have dreamed of. Thank you to those who want to see me get there too.

I know it won’t be smooth sailing forever but I have endured enough lows to appreciate these highs.

Still a lot left to prove, but for now - I am proud of myself.

11th - T100 London 🤟🏻

These races are tough, especially when you are coming from the back. I’m time trialing against some of the best triathletes in the world who are racing each other, taking hits when feeling good and pulling each other through their bad patches. Individually they’re a level up so together it’s pretty much impossible for me to get into the game at the front right now.

For almost all of the day there are no feet to swim on, no 20m draft zone to sit in and no shoulders to run on. What was special about yesterday was with 2km to go someone who knows this more than me caught me and with 500m to go he asked for a straight up side by side shoot out. Thanks that was a crazy experience having watched you and Lionel (another solo racer) pull those showdowns off a few times and always wondering what that would feel like myself.

Thanks everyone who cheered me on, it was so great to see lots of friends in the crowd and having my Girlfriend Clo, dad, brother and his girlfriend Em as well as Aaron in the media zones hounding me every lap and keeping me on it was special. I wasn’t near a podium, didn’t even get a top 10, but it still felt like a sprint to win. Onto more fun soon!
