Alisher Usmanov, owner of the , one of the greatest yachts in the world, recently donated 500 thousand euros to Sardinia for the fight against Coronavirus.
The russian magnate and philanthropist, who has always been a guest of Costa Smeralda, has thereby expressed his gratitude to the Sardinians for their warm hospitality over the last 30 years:
“I am grateful to you and to all the Sardinian for the warm welcome I have received for about 30 years on this beautiful island including the present moment.
My humble contribution is the least I can do for those who are affected by the pandemic and for those who fight it selflessly in Sardinia.
With all my heart I give another 500 thousand euros to help the government of Sardinia in this noble cause. I ask you to use this money for a program to develop and implement measures to protect health and life of your compatriots”.
