Teaching Kids to swim from 4/5yrs of age upwards. We cater for first time swimmers all the way up to competitive swimming. New members are always welcome

Currently we have a A squad,B Squad,C squad and D squad who all compete competively at various galas during the year. We also do swimming lessons for kids from age 4/5 on saturday afternoons in Newtown Swimming Club.

A brilliant day at the Open Water Nationals!

Lucy, Saoirse and Dylan took on the 5km race, while Emmeline, Jack and Liam raced in the 1.5km.

It was a fantastic day for the club with some amazing results, including 1st place, 2nd place and a top 10 finish. Every swimmer gave it their all and represented the club brilliantly.

We also want to say a huge well done to our coaches and parents, Neal, Sarah and Mary, who also took on their own races. It was great to see them out there competing and setting such a brilliant example for our swimmers.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved. We are so proud of the effort, determination and teamwork shown throughout the day. 🌊🏊

A great way to finish off the Irish Summer Nationals.

On the final day, Ethan and Liam were both in action in the 50m Butterfly, while Shauna raced the 50m Breaststroke. All three put in fantastic performances to round off an incredible week of racing.

A special mention to Ethan, who celebrated his 16th birthday by racing at the Irish Summer Nationals. What a brilliant way to spend your birthday!

We are so proud of everything our swimmers have achieved this week. From PBs and finals to some fantastic performances across the championships, everyone gave it their all.

A huge thank you to coaches Marc and Neal for all of their hard work, support and encouragement throughout the week.

Well done to all of our swimmers. Enjoy a well deserved rest, and we’ll see you back at the pool soon! 🏊🎉

Another great day at the Irish Summer Nationals.

Ethan and Rian both swam strong races in the 50m Breaststroke, with Rian coming away with a new PB.

Laura qualified for the B Final in the Butterfly where she swam a fantastic PB and won the B Final.

Liam also qualified for the B Final in the 200m Individual Medley and finished with another brilliant PB.

Some fantastic swims all around today and we couldn’t be prouder of our swimmers. A huge well done to everyone and a big thank you to coaches Marc and Neal for all their hard work and support throughout the week.

Another brilliant day at the Irish Summer Nationals.

Laura and Liam both raced the 100m Freestyle while Shauna took on the 200m Breaststroke. All three qualified for their B Finals after some great swims in the heats.

The finals didn’t disappoint. Shauna swam an incredible race to achieve a huge PB, while Laura also came away with a new PB, finishing as the first Irish swimmer in her heat and 6th overall. Liam also put in another strong swim to round off a fantastic day.

We are so proud of everything our swimmers have achieved. Their hard work and dedication are really paying off.

A huge thank you to coaches Marc and Neal for all of their support, guidance and hard work throughout the competition. We couldn’t be prouder of the whole team.

A great start to the Irish Summer Nationals for our swimmers.

Day 1 saw Laura put in a brilliant swim in the 200m Freestyle to qualify for the B Final. Shauna also had a fantastic 100m Breaststroke, earning herself a place in the B Final, while Liam had a strong swim in the 200m Freestyle heats.

In the evening finals, both Laura and Shauna swam brilliantly and did themselves proud. We are so proud of the hard work and determination they showed.

Day 2 brought more great racing with Skye, Saoirse, Laura and Liam all taking on the 50m Freestyle. Every swimmer gave it their all, with Liam qualifying for the A Final where he finished 8th overall and came away with a new PB.

A huge well done to all our swimmers. It has been fantastic to see all of your hard work paying off. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings. Good luck to everyone still to race.

Another brilliant day at the Irish Summer National Age Group Championships.

Lucy kicked things off with a fantastic swim in the 400m Freestyle, qualifying for the final before going on to win an incredible silver medal. A huge achievement and one she should be so proud of.

In the 200m Breaststroke, Charlotte, Freya and Georgia all gave brilliant performances. Charlotte and Georgia both swam personal bests in their heats, with Charlotte qualifying for the B Final. She rounded off the day with a fantastic 5th place finish in the B Final.

We are so proud of all of our swimmers and the hard work they continue to put in. It is amazing to see their dedication paying off at the highest level.

A big thank you again to coaches Marc and Neal for all of their support, guidance and commitment throughout the season and this championship.

Day 2 done and what a day it was for our swimmers at the Irish Summer National Age Group Championships.

A huge well done to Freya, Charlotte, Georgia and Lucy on some fantastic swims. Every one of them represented the club so well and gave it everything in the pool.

A special congratulations to Lucy on winning bronze in the 800m Freestyle, taking an incredible 18 seconds off her personal best and receiving a certificate of improvement. A brilliant achievement and one to be very proud of.

Well done as well to Georgia on receiving a certificate of improvement for her 100m Butterfly. A great reward for all of her hard work.

We are so proud of all four swimmers and everything they have achieved this weekend. It is fantastic to see all the hard work paying off.

A big thank you once again to coaches Marc and Neal for all the time, support and dedication they give our swimmers. None of this would be possible without them.

A great first day at the Irish Summer National Age Group Championships.

Charlotte had a brilliant swim to qualify for the B Final of the 100m Breaststroke, a fantastic achievement. Georgia also put in a great performance in her heats and represented the club so well.

Just qualifying for the National Championships is a huge achievement and everyone should be incredibly proud of getting there. We are so proud of both swimmers and everything they have worked so hard for this season.

A big thank you as well to coaches Marc and Neal for all the time, support and hard work they have put into helping our swimmers reach this level.

Best of luck to all of our swimmers competing on day 2. We can’t wait to see you back in the pool.

What a week 🇮🇹❤️

Our training camp has come to an end and what an incredible week it was. From early mornings and tough training sessions to team meals, the waterpark, pizza night, and plenty of laughs, every day was one to remember.

The swimmers worked so hard all week and showed great commitment, determination, and support for each other. It was brilliant to see everyone pushing themselves in training while also enjoying everything that makes a trip like this so special. The memories and friendships made this week will stay with us for a long time.

A huge thank you to our coaches and team managers for everything they did throughout the week. Your time, support, and encouragement made this trip possible. Thank you as well to all of our swimmers for their fantastic attitude and effort, and to all of the parents for your continued support before and during the camp.

Finally, we would like to say a huge thank you to our trip sponsors. Your generosity and support helped make this amazing opportunity possible for our swimmers.

A huge congratulations to our Swimmers of the Week from training camp, Morgan and Fredric.

This award is about so much more than swimming fast. It recognises the attitude, effort and commitment you bring to every session, and both of you showed that from the very first day.

Throughout the week you worked incredibly hard, pushed yourselves through every set and never stopped giving your best, even when training got tough. Your perseverance, determination and positive attitude stood out every day and made you both worthy winners.

We are so proud of everything you achieved during the week and can’t wait to see all your hard work pay off over the season ahead. Congratulations again Morgan and Fredric. Very well deserved!
