On Sunday, October 25, the first meeting took place between the young riders, their families, and the staff of the 2027 junior team. Filippo Ganna spent time getting to know them, and the groundwork was laid for the activities that will shape the squad. The new team will consist of 14 riders, whom we will continue to introduce in the coming days. The project spearheaded by Ganna is built upon a foundation of existing (U16) category teams: Aspiratori Otelli, Esperia Piasco, Pedale Ossolano and Vigor di Piasco. As part of this initiative, the social media channels of UC Piasco will be rebranded to reflect the new junior team: the Filippo Ganna Academy.
