Still here. 👋🏼 Still doing my thang. 🤗

Juggling clients, travel, holiday events and family, while staying on top of my own training, has been challenging. 🥴 Who can relate?

BUT — I’ve found that staying consistent with daily movement has actually helped me manage everything else. Even when it means only having 15 min. at a time to get something, 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 done.

Remember that you don’t 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 to beat records or reach ALL of your fitness goals this month just because the year is coming to an end. 🗓 January 1st is just another day that allows you to be a little bit better than the day before.

So, keep doing 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 thang — and give yourself some grace this holiday season. 😉

Practicing what I preach and 🏋🏻‍♀️ testing out some programming for the new Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT).

✨TRUTH TIME ✨

One of my favorite ways to explore a new country and its culture is through food 🤤 — and I go haaaaam! (pun fully intended)

When I’m traveling, I don’t give a single thought to sticking with my “ideal” portions, fasting windows or training schedule; and I enjoy 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 absolutely guilt-free.🍷

So where do I find the balance? ⚖️ Let’s face it, two weeks is a long time.

🤿 Luckily, traveling in the summer months allows for lots of outdoor activities. I get my daily movement in by swimming, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, etc. That may not be everyone’s jam, and that’s cool.

👟 Another way that I love to explore a new place is by walking through the entire city. I may not be able to fit daily training in, but (when possible) I’ll walk from place to place instead of taking an Uber or train/bus.

💧If there’s one nutritional must for me on vacation, it’s drinking lots of water; especially in warm weather. One of the awesome things about 🇭🇷 is how fresh and easily accessible their tap water is. You can seriously refill your water bottle at every fountain.
