📍NASELLO Wreck Dive Site
This awesome dive site is another victim of the Safari II during the Second World War.
This wrecks lays in front of the beautiful and popular beach of Cala Luna at 34 meters, which makes it a dive for only Advanced Open Water certified divers. At just half an hour of navigation this wreck is one of the most visited of the gulf, second only to the KT12, the good think is that after this dive you can sunbathe in the white and soft sand of Cala Luna to put the cherry on top of a beautiful day

Questo bellissimo sito di immersione è purtroppo un altra vittima del Safari II, durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale.
Il relitto si trova davanti alla bellissima e famosa spiaggia di Cala Luna ad una modesta profondità di 34 metri, il che lo rende visitabile solo ai subacquei certificati Advanced Open Water.
A sola mezz’ora di navigazione questo è uni dei relitti più visitati del golfo, secondo solo al KT12. In aggiunta dopo essersi immersi ci si potrà godere il sole nella bianca e morbida spiaggia di Cala Luna per coronare la giornata in bellezza.

📍KT12 BOW Dive Site.
🇬🇧 In 1943 when the KT12 got hit by the Safari's torpedo it broke in two main parts, the body of the wreck which is the KT12 Dive Site and its bow, that is a different dive site.
Initially the wreck was found in the 90s by a group of underwater photographers and journalists, that traced back all the scrap from the bow that brought them to the actual wreck just 500 far.
THE DIVE SITE: the dive site is like the KT12 at an average of 30 meters depth.
It also has many remains all over the site wich it makes it really enjoiable to visit.

🇮🇹Nel 1943 quando il KT12 venne colpito dal siluro del Safari si spezzò in due parti principali, il corpo del relitto che è il KT12 Dive Site e la sua prua, che è un altro sito di immersione. Inizialmente il relitto fu ritrovato negli anni '90 da un gruppo di fotografi e giornalisti subacquei, che seguironi tutti i detriti dalla prua che li portarono al relitto vero e proprio a soli 500 metri di distanza.
IL SITO DI IMMERSIONE: il sito di immersione è come il KT12 ad una profondità media di 30 metri. Ha anche molti resti in tutto il sito che lo rendono davvero piacevole da visitare.

📍KT12 Dive Site
🇬🇧 the KT-12 was a German armored cargo, built in Livorno (Italy) on behalf of the German Navy.
And now has became one of the top destinatioms for all the wreck appasionates and all the divers in general that from all over the world come here to dive this site.
And it is only 10 minutes from our dive shop!!.
This ship was sunken on her first trip, that was headed to North Africa for the delivery of heavy goods. When it suddently got hit by a torpedo launched from the Safari II, a Royal Navy submarine.
THE DIVE SITE: the site has a depth that range between 27 and 31 meters, the wreck is still perfectly preserved, if we think that has been sunken 80 years ago, all the cannons, rails and propeller are still amazingly preserved, the surrounding is filled by the beautiful marine life and, all around the wreck there is a museum of all the trucks, cars and motorcycles that it was transporting.
Making this wreck, arguably one of the best in the Mediterranean

🇮🇹il KT-12 era un cargo corazzato tedesco, costruito a Livorno (Italia) per conto della Marina tedesca. Ed ora è diventata una delle mete più ambite per tutti gli appassionati di relitti e per tutti i subacquei in generale che da tutto il mondo vengono qui per immergersi in questo sito.
Ed è a soli 10 MINUTI dal nostro dive center!!
Questa nave fu affondata durante il suo primo viaggio, diretta in Nord Africa per la consegna di merci pesanti. Quando venne improvvisamente colpito da un siluro lanciato dal Safari II, un sottomarino della Royal Navy.
IL SITO DI IMMERSIONE: il sito ha una profondità che varia dai 27 ai 31 metri, il relitto è ancora perfettamente conservato, se pensiamo che è stato affondato 80 anni fa, tutti i cannoni, le rotaie e l'elica sono ancora straordinariamente conservati, l'ambiente circostante è colmato dalla bellissima vita marina che lo decora e, tutt'intorno al relitto c'è un "museo" di tutti i camion, auto e le motociclette che trasportava.
Rendendo questo relitto, uno dei migliori del Mediterraneo.

I couldn't be more excited to be here today. First off, I want to express my gratitude to my mentor, the previous owner, for their guidance and support throughout the years. They've built an incredible diving center, and I'm honored to continue their legacy.

As the new owner, my main goal is to ensure that we provide the absolute best service to all our future customers. Whether you're a seasoned diver or just starting out, we want to create unforgettable experiences for each and every one of you. Our team of dedicated instructors and staff are committed to your safety, enjoyment, and exploration of the underwater world.

In addition to that, I'm thrilled to announce that we'll be opening a new headquarters. This new space will allow us to enhance our services, provide top-notch training, and offer even more exciting dive trips and adventures. We can't wait to share this new chapter with all of you!

We where searching the exact location of this mysterious dive site for several years, once we found the place we dove it just with some good and experienced friends for some years . We belive it's not time to present this stunning divesite to a broader and experienced public!
This dive site is our deepest, 43 meters or 142 feet deep. We believe that this scrap is the remain of a small wooden cargo (sail) ship.
While the wooden hull, deck and masts rotted away, the load of scrap grew together and formed the two hills of scrap.
The 3 ships sunk by the HMS Safari near Orosei but never found are:

15.7.1942 cargoship TIGRAI
17.8.1942 Sailship AUSONIA
03.4.1943 Sailship S. FRANCESCO DI PAOLA
