Highlands, Texas Recap:
The team was hopeful for a solid finish this weekend, but it doesn’t always work out the way we hope… but that’s racing.
After a 5th, 3rd and 4th in our qualifying heats, we started third in the final. The results? Unfortunately, due to mechanical issues, Rusty had to pull off closing the weekend with a DNF.
We were rocking and rolling all weekend but couldn’t get the gremlin off our back. The team worked hard to keep the boat in top shape & Rusty did them justice by driving the heck out of it. The top 10 boats were extremely close for time, bringing an exciting and eventful field. There were some epic battles with some great drivers and well-deserved wins.
Although we didn’t finish the weekend, this 🇨🇦 team is happy to be back to racing again and blessed to have so many supporters and fans cheering us on. The rig is off to Arizona on October 14th, and we can’t wait to redeem ourselves.
