Boomerang Yachting Charter is situated at the Costa Smeralda in the north east of Sardinia, where the wind and the sea have uniquely sculptured the fantastic landscape and shoreline. Driven by our shared love for sailing, sailboat racing and the island of Sardinia we, Sergio, Angelo and Julio have, in 2003, started our company with ten brand-new sailing yachts. Step Two of the maintenance series:
The work behind every boat ready to return to the sea ⛵

Once the boat is placed on its supports, the maintenance process begins: the team is divided into different tasks, such as polishing the hull sides.
The topsides are treated with professional machines and compounds to remove fender marks and sun damage, bringing the boat back to an almost like-new condition.

Una volta messa in sella, l’imbarcazione entra nel vivo della lavorazione: il team si divide in più fasi, come la lucidatura delle murate.
L’opera morta viene trattata con macchinari e paste specifiche per eliminare segni di parabordi e opacizzazioni causate dal sole, riportando la barca quasi allo stato originale.

When the summer season comes to an end, a new journey begins for us. ❄️

Daniele, our base manager, walks us through the first essential step of winter maintenance that Boomerang Charter carries out every single year, without exception.

🔧 The haul-out is when the boat is lifted out of the water and taken to the shipyard, where it is cleaned, polished, and carefully checked on the outside — getting it ready to return like new for the next season.

Yes… even in winter, there’s no rest here 😉
But this is how we take care of our boats — and of your future adventures.

Con la fine della stagione estiva, per noi inizia un altro viaggio. ❄️☃️

Daniele, il nostro capo base, ci racconta il primo step fondamentale del mantenimento invernale che Boomerang Charter porta avanti ogni anno, senza eccezioni.

🔧 L’alaggio è il momento in cui la barca viene tirata fuori dall’acqua e portata in cantiere:
pulizia, lucidatura e controlli esterni per prepararla a tornare come nuova nella prossima stagione.

Eh sì… qui neanche d’inverno ci si riposa 😉

Ma è così che ci prendiamo cura delle nostre barche — e dei vostri futuri viaggi.

Like every year, we came back to ICE (International Charter Expo) — and it definitely didn’t disappoint 🤩

To sum up this amazing experience: we got the chance to meet our collaborators and gather the valuable feedback we care so much about after the season. And guess what? It turns out we did a really great job overall!

We couldn’t be prouder of how happy our clients are when they step off the boat 🩵

Along the way, we also met incredible new agencies and shared our Mirto — a special liqueur from Sardinia — with our guests.
Trust me, getting them drunk was not the goal 🥴🤭

A journey through sea, sport, and solidarity.

Boomerang Charter proudly supports “Paths of Rebirth – Lives in Motion”, a project promoted by , , and to foster well-being and inclusion for women who are facing or have faced breast cancer.

Thanks to our fleet of catamarans, last sunday participants experienced the magic of the Legionaries Regatta in the Gulf of Cugnana — a shared journey of rebirth alongside family members, friends, and healthcare professionals.

💗 This is just the beginning of a path that blends sport, nature, and psychological support, turning care into a journey of life, strength, and community.

Un viaggio tra mare, sport e solidarietà.

Boomerang sostiene con orgoglio il progetto “Percorsi di Rinascita – Vite in Movimento”, promosso da AVIS Olbia, ASL Gallura e Mater Olbia Hospital, per il benessere e l’inclusione delle donne che affrontano o hanno affrontato un tumore al seno.

Grazie alla nostra flotta di catamarani, le partecipanti vivranno la magia della Regata dei Legionari nel Golfo di Cugnana, un’esperienza di rinascita condivisa insieme a familiari, amici e operatori sanitari.

💗 Questo è solo l’inizio di un percorso che unisce sport, natura e sostegno psicologico, per trasformare la cura in un cammino di vita, forza e comunità.
