Us, that we still had hair, and already we were this environment we would not have missed the opportunity to see the race live for no reason at all. C’è stato un evento qualche anno fa che ha cambiato tutto; lo sport che amiamo, il windsurf, non è stato più lo stesso dopo che un gruppo di rider molto cool, hanno, sul Lago di Garda, inventato un nuovo format di gara e soprattutto un nuovo approccio: IL FREESTYLE. Questo evento era la KING of THE LAKE, un contest dove i rider più forti del pianeta si davano battaglia di fronte ad un giuria composta non solo da windsurfisti ma anche da snowboarder e amanti degli action sport in genere. Noi, che avevamo ancora i capelli, e che già bazzicavamo questo ambiente non avremmo perso l’opportunità di vedere la gara dal vivo per nessun motivo al mondo. Il Lago per quei giorni si apparecchiava a festa e c’erano party cool in ogni locale …
