2024 is set to be a landmark year in the story of our family. To celebrate the milestone of cement foundations being poured for our house we decided to honour our intentions for this building by creating a little ceremony on site. People often talk about building the house of their dreams; no question we are hoping to create a beautiful home but our intentions for this future space go beyond that, beyond us. One wintry night around the kitchen table, each of us wrote down our hopes and aspirations for the house, for our lives with in and for our relationship to it. We shared ideas of gratitude, inclusivity, fun, love, laughter, honesty, abundance, and warmth. We spoke about it as a place we would have midnight feasts, stay up late talking, drinking, dancing, crying, and laughing. For us this place will be more than a home, it will be a place to meet, to gather with others, a sanctuary to share, a hub of creativity, a place of rest, of calm. We will fill it with music, the smells of cooking, and the hum of ideas being exchanged. We locked up our thoughts in a red box and drilled it into the substructure, ready to be encased in cement forever. If manifesting is the act of making something happen by imagining it and consciously thinking that it will happen, then I believe we imbued this future space with soul, with purpose and with love that night. And in keeping with our avowed sentiments, we look forward to welcoming you all to a kick ass party there at some point! ♥️

We are back baby! We are loving getting back into the planning of this years Truffle shuffle and we want you to be part of it. What could be better than spending time, making memories with friends and family? Looking forward to seeing everyone’s little faces at the start line and then over a glass of bubbly at the finish line 🥂😘

It’s been a while since I’ve done any race but this one was super fun. I couldn’t recommend doing a enough… So much so that the whole family will take part in a next month. Should be a good family weekend away right? Talking of awesome weekends away, The Truffle Shuffle will open for entry soon 🏋️‍♀️There will be less barbed wire to crawl under and more wine and cheese to consume at the water stations 🚀 Pencil 28th Oct in the diary folks 🚀

MEDAL UPDATE 🎉🎉
The medals are on their way guys, they will be with me (Rachel, the UK based back room staff) by Tuesday and I will be posting out ASAP.
The medals are being made of sustainable wood by an independent artisan in the UK, and as your aware we have had a little lockdown issue, this has contributed to the delay.
But they are on their way.

Well, this weekend was allot of fun 🥳 In what has to be the most bizarre year of our lives... The sheer delight and connectedness that comes from seeing friends, family and complete strangers getting out to Shuffle and spending some quality time together is incredibly heart warming. We set up this race last year to encourage people to come and see how beautiful the Umbrian hills are but it’s developed into meaning much more for us. Being able to play even the smallest part in encouraging people to get out together and get the ‘dolphins’ flowing is super gratifying 🐬🐬🐬The fun button has been firmly held down throughout the weekend across many countries and for that we are super chuffed to have been even a bit part in the fun. We hope with every fibre in our bodies that this time can be spent together next year making memories. Much love ❤️ The Harrisons : follow our journey in starting a different life in Italy 🇮🇹

The virtual Truffle Shuffle is a 5km fun run taking place at anytime that’s best for you over the coming weekend (31st Oct - 1st Nov). Our aim is to encourage as many people as possible (in groups of 6 🧐) to get out into the countryside and make memories with friends and family. At just £5 to enter and a medal sent out in the post for everyone that gets involved what could be better??? Well, we thought the chance to get your hands on some awesome merch! The virtual Truffle Shuffle takes place at ANY TIME that’s convenient to you over the Halloween weekend (31st Oct - 1st Nov).

It takes place ANYWHERE that is convenient for you.

It’s distance - 5km. And it’s not about putting down a PB, it’s about spending time with loved ones. Unless you want to of course (you can submit your time and see where you come on the leaderboard, all explained when you sign up).

It’s aim - Give you a reason to get out into the countryside with friends and family and make memories, and get some bling while you are at it... 🥇🥈🥉

With just over 2 weeks to go before the virtual Truffle Shuffle we want to encourage as many people as possible to get out into the countryside for a shuffle ‘together’ (in groups of 6 max, because as everyone knows its always the 7th mate that’s the dodgy one ).
