The work was inspired by the choreographer’s visit to the Edvard Munch Museum and the artist’s famous painting “The Scream” and explores the body in extreme states of emotion: how this manifests in the body, the strength it takes to carry their weight and the fragility that forces them into action.

*Fareras*
A work developed around travel, hope and memory and centred on the image of a lighthouse. Four women on stage revisit myths and traditions handed down in patriarchal societies, recreating a rich world of images and movements, reshaping narratives through their own bodily perspective.

This work is a part of a double-bill, “LUCK / UNLUCK”, where two distinct choreographic voices explore opposing yet interconnected themes:
luck for Aszure Barton and bad luck for Hofesh Shechter.
