The Arabel Pass in Burkhan Valley, Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 🐎

Sitting at roughly 3,839m (12,595ft), it’s one of the highest roads in the country, but Charlotte and Nico were rewarded with some of the most beautiful scenery of their entire trip. A landscape that barely feels like Earth: over fifty glacial lakes, rough dirt tracks, near freezing temps year round, and countless river crossings.

Wild camping in wide valleys. Making friends with the local livestock.

From here, they leave the Central Asian mountains behind and turn toward China and Eastern Asia. Lots more stories to come.
