Negli ultimi giorni abbiamo ripreso questo capolavoro che era rimasto in sospeso per un po' di tempo. Abbiamo terminato forse la parte più complessa che era il cielo con tutte quelle gradazioni di grigio. Un puzzle veramente bellissimo che finirà di sicuro in un posto speciale in casa!

In the last few days we have resumed this masterpiece that had been dormant for some time. We finished perhaps the most complex part which was the sky with all those shades of gray. A truly beautiful puzzle that will surely end up in a special place in the house!

🇮🇹 E' vero...ancora una volta è passato un po' di tempo. Per la verità un bel po' di tempo, sono successe un po' di cose a livello personale che ci hanno rallentato un po' e non ci hanno permesso di dedicarci a pieno alla nostra passione ma eccoci tornati!
Negli ultimi giorni i progressi sono stati esorbitanti, soprattutto quelli che ha fatto Martina, l'addetta al "dentro i cerchi", alla mappa vera e propria!
Lascio giudicare a voi la meraviglia...e come chicca finale, visto che ve lo avevamo promesso, ecco l'Italia e le sue città principali: Palermo, Messina, Napoli, Roma, Genova e ...Treviso!
A presto (promesso!) con il completamento dell'opera, a questo punto...

🇮🇹 Eccoci dunque, abbiamo atteso qualche giorno prima di mostrarvi e presentarvi ufficialmente il nuovo puzzle. Volevamo che almeno la struttura di fondo fosse riconoscibile ed ora eccolo che esce piano piano dal suo bozzolo...🐛🔜🦋
Rappresenta un mappamondo antico, nello specifico è una rappresentazione datata 1630 di Henricus Hondius.
È vero, la scala con cui sono rappresentati gli Stati, la completa mancanza di alcune regioni o continenti del pianeta (vedere l’Australia?) fa pensare come in pochissimi anni la conoscenza del mondo che abitiamo è cresciuta a dismisura. Il livello di dettaglio è impressionante e comunque, questo, a quei tempi era la migliore versione di Google Maps che avreste potuto “scaricare”. 😬
A prestissimo con i progressi di questo nuovo puzzle! 😜⏩
E magari mostriamo anche quali città italiane meritavano, secondo Henry, di stare su un planisfero...

🇬🇧 So here we are, we waited a few days before we officially show you and present you the new puzzle. We wanted at least the underlying structure to be recognizable and now here it is slowly emerging from its cocoon ... 🐛🔜🦋
It represents an ancient globe, specifically it is a representation dated 1630 by Henricus Hondius.
It is true, the scale with which the states are represented, the complete lack of some regions or continents of the planet (see Australia?) Suggests that in just a few years the knowledge of the world we live in has grown dramatically. The level of detail is impressive and by the way, this was the best version of Google Maps at the time that you could have "downloaded". 😬

🇮🇹 Rieccoci!!
Siamo spariti per qualche settimana, avete ragione, purtroppo gli impegni lavorativi e di studio non ci hanno permesso di dedicarci molto alla nostra passione.
Abbiamo ricavato dei momenti qua e là, però, per incorniciare e finalmente appendere le opere che fino ad ora abbiamo completato nella nostra nuova casa.
Qui potete vedere la Ca****la Sistina e che insieme agli elefanti arredano la nostra camera da letto. Il vascello dei pirati sta, invece, nel mio ufficio.
Non preoccupatevi, non siamo spariti, nel frattempo abbiamo comunque cominciato un nuovo puzzle, nei prossimi giorni ne vedrete delle belle e quindi...avanti con il prossimo!! 😜🧩⏩

We disappeared for a few weeks, you are right, unfortunately the work and study commitments did not allow us to devote much to our passion.
We took moments here and there, though, to frame and finally hang the works that we have completed so far in our new home.
Here you can see the Sistine Chapel and that together with the elephants decorate our bedroom. The pirate ship is in my office instead.
Do not worry, we are not gone, in the meantime we have started a new puzzle, in the next few days you will see some good ones and then ... on to the next one !! 😜🧩⏩

Questa domenica abbiamo avuto un po’ di tempo da dedicare a tutti quei pezzi scuri e pian piano lo abbiamo completo. È stato più complesso del previsto soprattutto per quanto riguarda le parti di mare e cielo ma il risultato finale è davvero impressionante...😍

🖼 The pirate ship ~ ~ 1500 pcs.

🇮🇹E quindi eccolo, finalmente.
Il nuovo puzzle che in pochissimi giorni abbiamo portato quasi al termine rappresenta un galeone dei pirati in mezzo ad una tempesta che sia avvicina pericolosamente e minacciosamente ad una roccaforte costruita su alti scogli con caverne a forma di teschi. 🏴‍☠️
La sfida qui sta nei colori molto cupi che compongono l’intera immagine, il mare mosso e le nuvole sono molto difficili da distinguere e come potete vedere nell’ultima foto gli ultimi pezzi sono un vero rompicapo.
Vi mostreremo presto qualche dettaglio aggiornandovi sul suo completamento.

🇬🇧 And so here it is, finally.
The new puzzle that in a few days we have almost completed represents a pirate galleon in the middle of a storm that is dangerously and threateningly approaching a stronghold built on high rocks with skull-shaped caves. 🏴‍☠️
The challenge here lies in very dark colors that make up the whole picture, the rough sea and clouds are very difficult to distinguish and as you can see in the last picture the last pieces are a real headache.
We will show you some details soon by updating you on its completion.

🇮🇹Nei giorni scorsi vi abbiamo anticipato del nuovo puzzle a cui stiamo lavorando. Presto vedrete di cosa si tratta, ma a prescindere dal soggetto, i colori o il numero di pezzi, abbiamo sempre una fedele aiutante...vi presentiamo Candeggina! 😁
Candy, nei suoi momenti di “coccolite acuta”, salta sul piano di lavoro, si rotola tra i pezzi e salta e scava nelle scatole mentre noi scoppiamo a ridere e cerchiamo di non farle portare via nulla! 😂
Vedrete presto nuove diapositive della sua irrinunciabile collaborazione... 🧩🐈😸
