⚙️What if the sustainability work done at Malcesine didn't stop there?

SuMoth has always been a sandbox for the future of the marine industry and Scale Up is what happens when that sandbox meets the ocean✨

👨🏻‍💻This September selected SMC26 teams will bring their data, their materials decisions and a year of research and sit down with IMOCA technical representatives to brainstorm what more sustainable offshore racing could actually look like.

and will join as partners, bringing LCA methodology and sustainable materials expertise into the conversation.

🦋SuMoth has always believed that the best opportunities aren't just found in a classroom but built through experience, opportunities and the right people around you.

That's why we're excited to share and are joining forces to host 2 STEM Clinics for women interested in technical careers within the sailing and marine industries⛵️

2 opportunities to participate in hands-on workshops, visit IMOCA boats and have a talk with professionals working in engineering, sustainability and design.

One month ago, day 1 of SuMoth Challenge 2026 began in ✨
Somehow, it already feels like another lifetime and like it was just yesterday at the same time

🤍The 8th edition was something special, the kind of week that reminds you exactly why this project exists!

And looking back at these photos with the laughs, the smiles, the hands in the air while celebrating, reminded us it all over again 🥹

To every student who poured months of work into this: thank you!
Watching your passion and joy up close is the reason we show up every year and the reason we can't wait to do it all again✨

🦋And that's it, SuMoth 2026 comes to an end

🏆Congratulations to , the overall winners of this edition;
and to , , , , , and , top finishers across the categories, each bringing home a result to be proud of.

But the real story of this week isn't only on those podiums.
It's in every team that arrived with a boat and left with something more: sharper skills, harder-earned confidence and friendships that crossed borders.

Six days, nineteen teams and one lake that saw it all!

🦋Tomorrow there’s a prize giving but the real prize already happened

It’s in the late nights fixing boats together, in cheering for a team that isn’t yours when their moth finally flies, in everything shared this week that no podium can capture.

It’s hard to believe SuMoth 2026 is already (almost) over.
This week went by too fast and we’re not ready to let it go just yet🥹
