What an incredible weekend on the Chaumont racetrack for the 6th round of the Challenge ORNEC championship.

Perfect organisation, perfect track – it was simply a highlight.

With 59 drivers in the supersprint category, every single lap had to be absolutely on point.

Warmup: 2nd place – we immediately found the right lines, very promising for the weekend.

Qualifying: 18th place. Unfortunately, not a single clean lap was possible due to constant overtakes and one opponent stopping right in the middle of the racing line.

Heat 1: Starting P5, a perfect start into the first row and finished 3rd.

Heat 2: Starting P3, another great start, but not brave enough, leaving the inside open – still finished 3rd.

Heat 3: Starting P3 again, once more a perfect start, but too optimistic, leaving the inside open again – still managed 2nd after a tough battle for the win.

After the three heats: 8th place

Semi-final:

1st start: Starting P4, we had a perfect launch as the lights flashed green for just 2 milliseconds – came out of the first corner in P1. Unfortunately, red flag due to electronic failure

2nd start: Tyres overheated, pushed too hard and had a poor start – still finished in 5th.

Final:
Starting P9, we made the wrong choice of grid side as it was wetter than the other. Out of the first corner in 14th, but fought back position after position, finishing 9th, battling hard for P7 and P8.

What can we say? An amazing weekend! The Peters Autosport crosscar with the new modifications really showed its performance – being in the fight for the top positions all weekend just feels incredible.

--- RESULTS OF MANCENANS, FRANCE ---

This weekend we headed to Mancenans, France for a round of the Swiss SAV Championship. It was a mix of highs and lows – and a whole lot of mud.

After both time practice sessions, we ended up 6th out of 20.
Our first two qualifying heats didn’t go so well – technical issues meant we couldn’t finish either of them.

After some repair time, we managed to finish the third heat in 5th place.
That got us 5th on the grid for the B-final, where we finished in 4th.

That was just enough to qualify us for the A-final! We started in 7th and fought our way up, position by position, all the way to 3rd.
We held onto that spot until the end and crossed the line in 3rd place.

What started out as a test weekend turned into a real success – and showed us that our kart works great when it’s set up right.

A bit late, but here we go:

Our weekend started with the Warm-Up, where we placed 24th out of 44 drivers.
In the first time practice we finished 33rd out of 44 and in the second time practice, 39th out of 44.
These results combined gave us 8th place on the starting grid for the first heat. We finished it at 38th place.

Not able to find the correct setup for the car, we were very disappointed and ended Saturday on that note.

Sunday morning began with the second heat, where we placed 28th out of 44.

For the third heat we changed the setup again but unfortunately we couldn't improve our position, and after a lot of fights and a small mistake we, finished 42nd out of 44.

Overall, we ended up in 39th place.

A weekend that was very disappointing, without any chance to even drive near the top times and not able to find any correct setting for the car in anyway. The changes on the car after our last race were not going in the correct direction unfortunately.

Nevertheless, we're staying positive and looking forward to our next race in Mancenans for the Swiss Autocross Championship.
