🇬🇧 2027 GB GRAND SLAM LEAGUE 🇬🇧

We are incredibly excited to announce the 2027 GB Grand Slam League, featuring four prestigious events across the UK. Our vision remains the same – to continue raising the standard of British kickboxing while creating more opportunities for GB fighters to develop, compete and succeed.

The GB Grand Slam is dedicated to growing grassroots kickboxing while providing a pathway for every GB fighter to develop, compete and succeed. From rookies taking their first steps onto the tatami to seasoned internationals, every event is designed to deliver a professional, prestigious and unforgettable experience.

2027 marks the next chapter. Bigger events, exciting new features and an even greater competition experience await as we continue to raise the standard of British kickboxing. We can’t wait to share what’s in store throughout the season.

* ⚒️ Northern Grand Slam – Barnsley | 8th–9th May

Next year is a huge one for GB Grand Slam. For the first time, we’ll be hosting 4 events across the UK something that has always been a major goal for us.

Our vision is simple: bring high-quality tournaments to fighters up and down the country, making opportunities more accessible than ever before.

We’re committed to grassroots development giving rookie fighters a platform to step onto the mats, gain experience, and grow. But just as importantly, we want them to witness the very best our sport has to offer.

Because every fighter starts somewhere… and every fighter has someone they look up to.

That’s why we’re encouraging our senior fighters to step up, attend, and compete to showcase the highest level of kickboxing and inspire the next generation coming through.

This is what makes our sport so special. The journey, the role models, the community.

🏆 GB Grand Slam Medal Statistics 🏆

Congratulations to every club, coach, official and competitor who took part this weekend. The standard of competition continues to rise, and it’s fantastic to see so many athletes representing their clubs with pride.

Whether you came away with medals or valuable experience, every performance on the tatami contributes to the growth of our sport.

A huge congratulations to all of our medal-winning clubs, and thank you to everyone who helped make another incredible GB Grand Slam possible.

All packed up and the sports hall is empty. 🥋

A huge thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible – our referees, coaches, officials, volunteers, stall holders, media team, facilitators and everyone who gave their time to help. We couldn’t do it without you.

There’s something special about the end of a tatami day. The mats are being packed away, everyone’s exhausted, yet people are still gathered around the final fights, cheering until the very last second. Conversations turn to the journey home, the next event on the calendar, and catching up on how everyone’s team got on.

These are the moments that remind us why we love this sport.

It’s why children, parents, coaches and referees build friendships that stretch the length of the UK. It’s why grassroots development matters so much. This community is what makes kickboxing special.

At Team GB Grand Slam, we’ll continue to do everything we can to keep raising standards, creating opportunities, and supporting the development of our GB kickboxing community.

What a fantastic first day at the GB Grand Slam 2026! 🥋🏆

From seeing our rookies step onto the tatami for the very first time, to crowning our Grand Champions this evening, it’s been an incredible day filled with determination, sportsmanship and outstanding performances.
