Love yoga and kite surfing? I warmly recommend Floripa for your holiday. Floripa is a yoga and kite surf place right at the beach in Southern Sicily. I have been teaching yin and vinyasa there for 6 weeks and it was a wonderful experience. Good yoga and good surf.

It has been a while since I posted anything on this site.

So....... the dream job at the Island of St Maarten was blown away by hurricane Irma in November.

Instead I went to my favorite place on earth, Santa Barbara and stayed with Evolation Yoga. A month after I left Santa Barbara the St Thomas fire destroyed huge parts of Santa Barbara county. Luckily downtown Santa Barbara and the Evolation studio are stil intact.

At the moment I am in the little town of Ayampe at the Ecuadorian coast. Teaching yoga, learning Spanish and surfing.

Yes, my friends have started to discuss to change my name to catastrophe Juliette. As we have had two small earthquakes during my stay here, they are afraid of what is going to happen in Ayampe after I leave :-)

In Holland and Sweden we are pretty safe from big fires, hurricanes and earthquakes. But there is a whole different world out there.

And back in Santa Barbara after a 3 months trip to Sweden, Berlin and Holland.

Todays menu: Baked butternut squash with black rice, tomatoes, lime, lemon, parsley and pistachios. Recipe from the magazine "edible Santa Barbara".

Tonight we will have the soon to be famous vegan burgers.
Just saying, come over and taste them!

Still at the Berlin Evolation Hot Yoga Teacher Training. Tonights food was whole oven baked cauliflower with lots of veggies, quinoa and Indian Spicy sauce. Watched the documentary What the health so now I am even more inspired to keep every dish as clean from dairy as possible :)

Quesadillas with watermelon-cucumber-mint sallad. Berlin delivered a sunny first week. Today its raining cats and dogs. So RAW chocolate dessert is needed. Well well, there is always sunshine after rain.
