Mando un sincero abbraccio a Marina Nioi, a Nicolò, Chiara e a tutti i familiari per la scomparsa del caro Sandro.
Esempio di rettitudine e grandissimo dirigente, ha contribuito con la sua capacità ai successi del Team negli anni.
Se penso, voltandomi indietro, Sandro è la persona che ho sempre avuto al mio fianco nei momenti più significativi della mia carriera di allenatore, come la prima medaglia in assoluto con Matteo, il primo Titolo con Silvia o quando sono mezzo svenuto per la prima medaglia di Corrado e lui a chiedermi: "Ma sei svenuto davvero?" Oppure come dimenticare la sua emozione, il suo sorriso e la sua soddisfazione per la prima medaglia di Cinzia?
Nel tempo che ho trascorso come allenatore dell'ASD I CORVI, la sua presenza è stata indispensabile per raggiungere i tanti titoli e medaglie vinti dalle nostre atlete ed atleti. Era adorato perché sapeva essere il giusto raccordo tra i vari reparti del Team, sapendo essere dolce e consolatore quando serviva ed essere severo e forte quando l'istinto agonistico animalesco prendeva il sopravvento (allenatore incluso). Soprattutto è stato protagonista e testimone della crescita umana, oltre che sportiva, di quel gruppo.
Ancora un grande abbraccio alla Famiglia Lai e anche se lontano fisicamente, vi sono vicino con il cuore.

When I think, looking back, Sandro is the person I have always had by my side in the most significant moments of my coaching career, like the first medal ever with Matteo, the first title with Silvia, or when I was half-fainted for Corrado's first medal and he asked me, "Did you really faint?" Or how to forget his emotion, his smile, and his satisfaction for Cinzia's first medal?
In the time I spent as coach of ASD I CORVI, his presence was essential to achieve the many titles and medals won by our athletes. He was adored because he knew how to be the right link between the various departments of the Team, knowing how to be sweet and comforting when needed and being strict and strong when the animalistic competitive instinct took over (coach included). Above all, he was a protagonist and witness of the human growth, as well as the sporting one, of that group.
Another big hug to the Lai Family and even though physically far away, I am close to you with my heart.
