We would like to welcome you to the new surfing initiative Surf Camp Sardinia. You all probably know Sardinia is hardly the most popular of surf destinations. Crowded line ups, sharks, tides, dangerous currents are out of the question. Yet, without all of this it is not rare to find up to 4m swells. Furthermore the south-west part of the island has waves almost every day in the winter. This is all
due to the dominant NW Mistral wind which blows with such regularity and power that this part of the island really gets consistent waves. Sardinia is the second largest island in the Med. It’s also the most consistent surf location in this tideless sea, as even the east coast of the island picks up east swells coming out of the Tyrrhenian Sea, hitting the beaches around Cagliari. It is also important to mention famous Libeccio and Ponente winds which are well known to create clean and sometimes very big waves. With Surf Camp Sardinia you can disover South West part of this island and its faboulous surfing conditions. Surfing is something very special to us.
