We know it’s only the start of March, but when the sun is shining and the snow is melting, it’s hard not to think about balmy summer days on the lake.☀️🌊

Our 2025 season kicks off in April—who’s ready? 🏄‍♂️ Fresh water, smooth thermal winds, and boat support - it doesn’t get much better than kitesurf lessons on Lake Como.

Just 90 minutes from Milan, reachable by public transport, and an easy drive from Switzerland. The perfect escape for a few days on the water.

5 Reasons to learn to kitefoil 👇

1. Light wind? No problemo

2. Linked to the first point - you can go out in lighter wind than everyone else, which means you often get the water allll to yourself

3. It feels like you’re flying - so. much. fun.

4. It massively improves your kite-handling skills (light wind is harder, so you have to be better) - this will level up the rest of your kiting too

5. If you work really hard at it maybe you could enter the 2028 Olympics in LA, because it seems like team Europe are pretty good at this stuff 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇳🇱🥇🪁👏

As European kite spots go, Lake Como is hard to beat. In the north of Italy and at the foot of the Italian Alps, it’s just 90mins from Milan and easy to reach by train / coach from Switzerland.

✔️kiteable conditions on 95% of days (April-October)
✔️a stunning location (and who doesn’t love a bit of la bella vita! 🇮🇹🍕🍷🍦☀️)
✔️loads of things to see and do if you don’t just want to kite

If you’re looking for an easy getaway then this is a great choice.

Suitable for: all levels (one of the best places to learn because of the easy conditions, and great for more advanced riders because there’s so much space to practice new tricks.
