The AIS European Training Centre in Italy is a facility for Australian athletes that offers sports science and sports medicine capabilities, access to the best facilities in the region, as well as athlete career and education support, all within close proximity to the vast competition opportunities that Europe offers. The AIS European Training Centre a
ims to replicate the training environment of the Australian Institute of Sport, and to provide athletes with a European ‘home away from home’. The centre enhances Australia’s ability to maintain its competitive advantage when its athletes are training or competing overseas. The centre has the following amenities to support visiting athletes and team staff:
25 ensuite bedrooms with two beds per room (includes three wheelchair accessible rooms)
