Carube — Roberto Lencioni — was born in Tuscany and grew up among sacrifice, workshops and village races. At thirteen he bought his first bike. Soon after, he was winning. Every time.

The talent was there. The road seemed marked out for him.

Then something happens that changes everything. A motorcycle accident. A broken leg. The dream of turning pro shattered.

Era la decima ed Eroica Montalcino l'ha celebrata al meglio.

Con quasi 2500 iscritti, col record di stranieri, con una presenza gioiosa di tanti giovani e ragazze. Domenica splendida inondata di sole, il verde più bello possibile con la pioggia del venerdì a corroborare panorami da sogno.

Ed abbiamo finito in gloria, musica e balli in piazza, ormai un must che fa dell'evento una festa popolare, il sorriso oltre la fatica.
