"Our traditions are our traditions" - Coach Inserra
After twice watching the tape on the Academy vs Oswego last weekend, I've came away with 3 thoughts...
LA defense is for real, LA struggled getting those WRs the ball, and our MS spread is a key advantage (again).
Hawks QB and RBs will likely have some big offensive plays, but even more likely a couple/few long drives of 10 plays or more; and I think capable of 27 to 33 points. If LA QB can get the ball downfield several times and mix and match their 2 RBs, they can drive and score. LA special teams have been good; and I think they're capable of 10-14 points.
It's a BIG rivalry - no one is taking anything for granted. It will be close to 34 degrees at game time, so the delta might just come down to turnovers - and if either team is plus 3 in turnovers on Saturday afternoon, then they will probably win.
