Hi everyone!
Bit of a news here, I will go back to Italy for 4 months tomorrow.
Will be back in full swing in the workshop in March.
Bookings will be open again starting from February but I will keep you posted once open again.
Bit gutted to be missing the epic Nz summer but unfortunately with this Covid around, plans are always changing this year.

I’ve been really enjoying working on your bikes this past few months and I wanna thank all of you that came by for the trust and appreciation for the job.
Looking forward to seeing you all in March and maybe even do a little catch up with all of you the opening night...
Thanks again team and enjoy the kiwi summer for me too!
Ciao!

Another pruning job in the workshop today, what a difference a bit of care can make.
Still same number of cables on the bar, simply cut and rearrange.
Love the clean look, less rattling and better race plate fitting.

Another nice little project for a Rotorua local legend.
Race prep and serviced.
Looking shiny, smooth and quiet with a new chain slap padding.
Here a shot of the workshop as well, bit messy , right in the middle of the action.
Love working in the evening and see those bikes transform from privateer looking bike to what an ews racer could race all over the world.
Attention to detail, love what you do and passion are key.
Bloody love Mtb.

Before and After...
Really enjoyed spend time on this one, full rebuild, few parts upgrades, the usual cables trim/rearrange, additional padding for the chain slapping and few more bits here and there...
Really happy with the result, all she need now is a rider on it in our beautiful forest here in Rotorua!

Man! Hard to look back at this video from Zermatt 2019, had such a great time with the GT crew as per usual.
Soo gutted I’ll be missing this 2020 round coming up, really can’t wait to be back at racing.
Have a look at this little spoke tail video going for the full ews race practice included all the climb, man fair play to this athletes racing it cause is soo physical demanding especially at this alps altitudes.
Good Times !

It's the final EWS of the 2019 season. Martin Maes is back on his enduro bike and ready to finish the year the way he started - winning. Noga is sitting comf...

AFTER-BEFORE
Really enjoyed worked on Adam King turbo levo. Pretty new bike but the guy definitely put miles into it! Fresh rebuild, all bearings serviced (from headset to frame ), deep drivetrain clean, few little adjustments on the suspensions, brake bleed, re-rout and arrange all the cables on the bar.
Way cleaner look, wich on ebikes is quiet rare considering the additional engine/electric cable. This way the rattle from the cables is extremely reduce and we all know that a quiet bike is a fast bike....pure science. Lol.

PS: there’s a little trick to be able to put 3 cables trough one hole on this frame model...and NO doesn’t involve drilling or frame modifications, otherwise the warranty would expire.

Is all about details.

Cool shot from Ross Bell for a pinkbike tech article at the 2019 Lenzerheide World Cup Downhill.
Good times working with George Brannigan.
I remember by the time quali day came by it started heavy rain and it was bloody cold!!
Big mountains weather I guess.
Tyres choice and a more “gentle” Sospensions set up was the way to go for a technical track as that.

Super stoked to put this bad boy back in action soon!
Has been a long time my friend.
This is my latest toolbox that I’ve used since beginning of 2019 season.
Is organised to work with GT Fury and GT Force, Shimano and Fox components .
Optimised to the max so that it only weight 7.5 kg ( Included toolbox case, small parts box and a global gps tracker hidden inside....you never know what happen to you’re toolbox while travelling the world)
Of course I’m using more and different tools for the customers but I thought was cool to show you guys how a racing toolbox can look like.
Always interesting seing how all my colleagues around the world organised they’re differently ,but funny enough , they all achieve a race bike ready at the end of the day.

back when me and heavy metal Jerome Clementz were rolling around the world racing, good times!
This is a little slideshow interview from the one and only Sven Martin for Vital Mtb, cool insight of what racer and mechanic relationships is like and race life in general.
This was done back in July ‘15, French enduro World Series round, Samoens.

The reason mountain bike racers can be successful is often because of their support team. Enduro racer, Jerome Clementz, has been working with mechanic Matteo Nati for some time now and have a relationship that is both professional and fun. We...
