Nati a Cuneo nel 2006, i Lhi Balòs sono una delle realtà più travolgenti della scena occitana contemporanea: un mix originale di ska, reggae, funky, balkan e folk che incontra la musica tradizionale delle Valli 🔥

In quasi vent’anni di attività hanno portato la loro energia in oltre 250 concerti tra Italia, Francia e Catalogna, pubblicando 3 album e collaborando con artisti internazionali come Alidé Sans e Paulin Courtial.

Cantate in occitano, le loro canzoni raccontano resistenza, migrazione, memoria e identità: storie che viaggiano dalla Valle Maira ai mercati di Milano, passando per Don Aldo Benevelli e il recente singolo “Anciuat” (2025).

Born in Cuneo in 2006, Lhi Balòs are one of the most explosive acts in today’s Occitan music scene: an original blend of ska, reggae, funk, Balkan and folk, rooted in the traditional music of the valleys 🔥

In almost twenty years, they’ve brought their energy to over 250 concerts across Italy, France and Catalonia, releasing 3 albums and collaborating with international artists such as Alidé Sans and Paulin Courtial.

Sung in Occitan, their songs tell stories of resistance, migration, memory and identity — from the story of Don Aldo Benevelli to their latest single “Anciuat” (2025), a journey from Valle Maira to the markets of Milan.

They’ve shared the stage with Goran Bregovic, Lou Dalfin and Goulamas’k, performing at international festivals from Turin to Marseille, Pau to Barcelona 🌍

Throughout the festival, you can visit “La cordata ideale”, a photographic exhibition produced by the National Mountain Museum of Turin and hosted by the Iren Group at the “Pierfranco Nigretti” Alpine House at the Ceresole dam ⛰️

The exhibition features two giants of mountaineering, Giusto Gervasutti and Gabriele Boccalatte!

Aid climbing 🦾 with Andrea Migliano

Take your climbing beyond the natural holds and discover the art of aid climbing! 🧗🏻

Aid climbing is an essential skill for big walls, new route development and exploration, but it’s also a great way to expand your technical knowledge and approach the vertical world from a completely different perspective.

This hands-on workshop will introduce you to the fundamentals of moving efficiently on artificial protection. You’ll learn how to climb using aiders and a fifi hook, including how to build a simple aider, and how to correctly place and use different types of protection such as pitons, cliffhangers, Peckers, copperheads, nuts, BallNuts and Friends.

You’ll also practice ascending fixed ropes with ascenders/Jumars, managing and hauling equipment, and organizing safe and efficient anchors on small ledges or vertical walls.

Crack climbing ✨ with Matteo Castellini

Learn the basic techniques of crack climbing! 🧗🏻

We will learn how to make tape hand wraps to protect our hands while climbing, we will see various types of quick protection and how to use them, and we will experiment with different types of jamming depending on the size of the crack and the climbing techniques suitable for this type of terrain.

Take your multi-pitch climbing to the next level! 🔝

Designed for climbers who already have some multi-pitch experience, this advanced workshop will focus on the techniques, efficiency and decision-making needed to tackle longer and more demanding routes.

Together with Mountain Guide Matteo Castellini, you’ll work on rope management, belay transitions, anchor organization and protection strategies, learning practical tips and tricks to move faster, safer and more confidently as a rope team.

The goal: waste less time on the wall, make better decisions and be ready for bigger adventures!

Join Jane Švecová , one of the world’s strongest outdoor boulderers, for a workshop dedicated to smarter, more effective climbing training.

Drawing from Jana’s experience training and climbing at the highest level, the session will explore how to build strength and improve performance while taking care of your body and reducing the risk of injury.

You’ll learn practical training strategies, mobility routines and strengthening exercises that can be integrated into your regular climbing routine, with a focus on developing finger and upper-body strength, identifying weaknesses and creating a more balanced approach to training.

This workshop is designed to give you the essential skills and confidence needed to approach your first multi-pitch adventures safely and efficiently. 🧗🏻‍♀️

Together, we’ll explore the fundamental techniques for moving as a rope team, including the correct progression for ascending a multi-pitch route, managing belays and transitions, communicating effectively with your partner, and organizing the rope at the stance. We’ll also cover the basic principles and techniques for descending and rappelling safely.

Learn how to manage an emergency on the wall and become more self-reliant when things don’t go according to plan ❤️‍🩹

An injury, a stuck or damaged rope, a problem during a rappel: on a multi-pitch route, even a small unexpected event can quickly become a difficult situation. Knowing a few essential self-rescue techniques can make a huge difference.

This workshop focuses on practical emergency and self-rescue skills for multi-pitch climbing, using the limited equipment you would normally carry on your harness. You’ll learn how to assess and manage common problems, assist your climbing partner, and move safely when standard techniques or equipment are no longer enough.
