We are proud to announce that the NXP Cup qualifiers concluded yesterday. This international competition is dedicated to the development of autonomous driving vehicles.

The Rosys Group team from the University of Catania secured 1st place in Italy, an extraordinary achievement that grants us access to the finals to be held this May in Milan.

This competition represents a complex challenge, testing skills in mechanical design, control systems, and real-time software optimization. We are extremely satisfied with the team's dedication and the technical quality demonstrated on the track.

The work continues as we prepare for the finals in Milan.

Today we had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Marco Hutter (ETH Zurich – Robotic Systems Lab) at the University of Catania for a seminar titled:
"Robots in the Wild".

An inspiring and insightful talk that offered a deep look into the latest advancements in legged robotics for real-world and challenging environments.
