Having both lived and worked in France and the UK for many years, we sensed the love of people towards our native region, their passion for Italian scrumptious food, its artistic richness and natural beauty. Just over a year ago, by telling each other how lucky we were, we become fascinated by the idea to give everyone the opportunity to discover our stunning Lake from a different prospective and

thinking, how about cycling with us? At Jaab we do things a bit differently, from uphill adventures to picturesque villages our tours are designed to give you a rare insight and a superb taste of our extraordinary region, the chance to really challenge yourself on the road, touch your limits and off course have fun and a great time here with us!! Dalle Alpi al Lago

Un giro Bellissimo che oggi, ci ha condotto dal Parco delle Chiuse in Casargo fino al centro di Bellano passando da punti incredibilmente panoramici.

I primi chilometri in salita si sviluppano su asfalto, ottimo per spezzare il fiato e dalle pendenze mai eccessive, 8% max, fino ad imboccare il primo sentiero, molto pulito che ci porta a Sanico. Da qui un paio chilometri ancora su asfalto con piccoli strappi al 16% per poi passare sulla strada agro-salvo-pastorale di Camaggiore.

Davanti ai nostri occhi una vista stupenda su uno dei Laghi piu famosi al mondo, il nostro Lago di Como.

Imbocchiamo il sentiero, con piccoli tratti dove la bici deve essere sollevata, nulla di difficile ma tecnicamente interessante per chi si avvicina al mondo della Mtb.

Ci fermiamo per rinfrescarci al Rifugio San Grato e poi continuiamo la nostra discesa lungo il percorso che ci porta al centro storico di Bellano. Una bellissima discesa tra tornanti e scalini, passando per il Famoso Orrido, tra i vicoli stretti di un passato lontano fino al piccolo porticciolo, dal quale il nostro shuttle ci riporterà fino a Casargo.

Un trail interessante di 17km (7km se si considera la sola discesa) classificato da noi come un trail blu, a tratti tecnico con dislivelli +443m / -1048m.
From the Alps to the Lake

A beautiful tour that today, led us from the Parco delle Chiuse in Casargo to the center of Bellano passing through incredibly scenic spots.

The first kilometers uphill develop on asphalt, excellent for breaking the breath and with never excessive slopes, 8% max, up to take the first path, very clean that leads us to Sanico. From here a couple of kilometers still on asphalt with small tears to 16% and then pass on the agro-silvo-pastorale road to Camaggiore.

Let your eyes fall with the wonderful view of one of the most famous lakes in the world, our Lake Como.

We take the path, with small stretches where the bike must be raised, nothing difficult but technically interesting for those approaching the world of Mtb.

We stop to freshen up at Rifugio San Grato and then continue our descent along the path that leads us to the historic center of Bellano. A beautiful descent between hairpin bends and steps, passing through the famous Orrido, through the narrow alleys of a distant past to the small marina, from which our shuttle will take us back to Casargo.

An interesting trail of 17km (7km if we consider the only descent) classified by us as a blue trail, sometimes technical with + 443m ascent / descent -1048m.
