Today, my article about the Bel Torrente Multi-Siphon cave system was published in InDEPTH Magazine, and I am proud to finally share it with the community.

This article tells the story of years of exploration, discovery, challenges, and teamwork in one of Sardinia’s most fascinating underwater cave systems.

A special thank you to Stratis Kas, who inspired me to write this article. Through countless interviews, discussions, and ongoing collaboration, we worked together to bring this story to life.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to my entire Protec Sardinia team and to all the explorers who have participated in the Bel Torrente Project over the years. Your dedication, hard work, and passion for exploration have made every achievement possible.

This publication is not just about a cave system—it is about the people behind the exploration, the friendships built along the way, and the shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of discovery.

The last class is almost wrapped up - TS TEC Sidemount Instructor Training is coming to an end! 🔥 Today’s the final day of an intense 2-week program. We kicked things off with the IT training, followed by the first TS Summit, and now we’re finishing strong with the TS TEC Sidemount Instructor Course. The participants are amazing - total passion for diving, giving it their all in every session. And working with Asia’s top ITs? An honor! Loved sharing my style, my diving philosophy, especially sidemount. Can’t wait to see these guys spread the word in Asia! 😊

I am delighted to announce that I will be giving a presentation together with Witold Hoffmann about my long-standing cave exploration project Bel Torrente – Follow the River (Multi Siphon Project). My team and I have been exploring this cave for over 17 years now, and we have so far been able to explore over 12 km and achieve a direct pe*******on of over 5 km. We often spend up to 7 days exploring this system, overcoming several (6) siphons of varying lengths (some up to 1.2 km) and depths of over -60 m. Reaching the current end requires a great deal of effort and takes several days. The next exploration is planned for 2026 and will probably take about 10 days. The Bel Torrente system is certainly one of the largest multi-siphon projects in Europe, and we expect to explore many more siphons in the future. The presentation will start on Saturday, December 6, at 4:45 p.m. in the Blue Room. I am very excited to tell you about our current research in this spectacular cave system in Sardinia and hope to see you in person at Dive Expo 2025
