The page of the International Vaurien Class Association. It is sailed all over Europe, in Africa and South-America.

The Vaurien is a sailing dinghy, designed in 1952 by the French Architect Jean-Jaques Herbulot. The CIV (Comittee International du Vaurien) is the governing body of the International Vaurien Class Association. The Vaurien is an international two-person racing dinghy. It was design by the French top-level sailor and boat designer Jean-Jaques Herbulot in 1951. Since 1961 the Vaurien is recognized as an international one-design class by ISAF.

The world championship in Société des Régates du Havre will be the 61st Vaurien world championship : The history of the competitions can be seen on the "relic" 🏆 of the Vaurien class: The V flag, which, according to the statutes, must be hoisted during the opening ceremony of the championship , and lowered during the closing ceremony 🧐🤩.
