WINTER ECHOES with

The Dent Parrachée is not just any summit for Anselme.
It’s the mountain above his home, the one he sees every day while training.
His first big summit as a young mountaineer.

This spring, he set off from the church in Aussois, at 1,483 m, to climb all the way to the 3,697 m summit and return as fast as possible.

18 km.
2,215 m D+.
Difficult snow, exposed sections, true high mountain terrain.

The previous record stood at 2h47’.
Anselme stopped the clock at 2h06’44”.

Now that your racing career has come to an end, will skiing still be part of your life?
“I hope skiing will always be part of my day-to-day life. I love being in the mountains and skiing in winter, so I’ll do my best to be able to ski a few days during the week.”

And what kind of skis do you imagine yourself using now?
“I really like using light skis because they feel more nimble on the mountain. But I’d also like to have some wider touring skis, like the Maestro, for great descents in fresh snow.”

Will you look at the mountains differently?
“My relationship with the mountains will stay the same: a place of peace and freedom, where you can share experiences but also be alone. Now I hope to make the most of the powder days, without having to follow a training plan.”

With our ambassador Enrico Lovato, a traverse from Andermatt to Engelberg via Göscheneralpsee and Sustenpass, crossing glacial terrain and high-altitude passages.

Glacier skiing, long and continuous descents, and nights in small huts surrounded by wide, remote alpine landscapes.

With deep sadness, we remember Sergio Longoni, founder of DF Sport Specialist and a true reference point in the world of sport retail.

A special moment, a well-deserved win, and a brand new pair of custom race skis made just for her.

From his first race as a young talent to the Olympic stage, built a career as one of the top athletes in ski mountaineering sprint races, becoming a true benchmark in the discipline.

“In Villars, it was a special sprint for me. I knew it would be my last, and I wanted to push myself to the limit one more time.
Before the final, I had in mind that it would be the best way to end my career. Standing once again in the final with Oriol, Thibault, and my teammate Jon felt amazing. So I tried to enjoy the last final of my career.”

Some count vertical meters. Others count lines.
On April 6th, our ambassadors Victor Garcin and Symon Wilfrenger traversed the Belledonne massif from east to west, following the sun for 30 km and 4,300 m of elevation gain in 12 hours.

Seven steep descents linked together: from Grand Pic (5.4) to the couloirs of Grand Doménon and Pic Couttet (5.1), all the way to the lines of Grande Lance and Pic du Loup (5.3).
Beyond the numbers, it was above all an exceptional day shared between friends, immersed in a unique setting, a true playground for those who love steep skiing.
