The grand finale of Giro Dolomiti 2026. A stage that combines effort, scenery, and celebration—bringing riders onto the beautiful Salten plateau, between San Genesio and Merano.

Starting and finishing at Bolzano Fair, this last stage covers 51.3 km with 1,336 m of elevation gain, offering one final challenge before the closing celebrations.

After a smooth ride towards Terlano, the race kicks off with the timed climb:

A demanding ascent through hairpins and forest roads leads riders up to the plateau, followed by faster sections across open landscapes.

The route continues through Meltina, Passo Schermoos (1,439 m)—the highest point of the stage—and across scenic alpine meadows dotted with traditional farms and Haflinger horses, before reaching San Genesio.

From there, a fast and flowing descent leads back to Bolzano, where riders will be escorted to the finish at Bolzano Fair.

The journey concludes with the traditional final lunch and award ceremony, celebrating an unforgettable week in the Dolomites.

The queen stage of Giro delle Dolomiti 2026. A true alpine challenge set against the majestic backdrop of the Pale di San Martino, the largest massif in the Dolomites.

Starting and finishing in Predazzo (Val di Fiemme), this demanding stage covers 88.7 km with 2,492 m of elevation gain, combining breathtaking scenery with iconic climbs.

The route heads through Bellamonte and Paneveggio, climbing towards Passo Rolle, before reaching the stunning San Martino di Castrozza. The second part of the stage continues with Passo Valles and Passo San Pellegrino, before descending through Falcade and Moena back to Predazzo.

Early in the stage, riders tackle the timed ascent along a traffic-free road through the enchanting Paneveggio Natural Park, riding alongside the lake and into the heart of the Dolomites.

A short stage in distance, but pure intensity from the very first pedal stroke. Stage 3 is a classic uphill effort, taking riders from Bolzano to the sunny plateau of the Renon.

Starting at Bolzano Fair, the route covers 20.5 km with 948 m of elevation gain, finishing in Collalbo, in the heart of one of the most panoramic areas of South Tyrol.

Right from the start, the road climbs through the vineyards of Santa Maddalena, then winds through forest switchbacks up to the Renon plateau. Along the ascent, riders are rewarded with stunning views over the Dolomites, including the Sciliar, Alpe di Siusi and Sassolungo.

One of the most iconic days of the Giro Dolomiti awaits. The legendary Sellaronda stage takes riders on a spectacular loop around the Sella massif, crossing four famous Dolomite passes in a single ride.

Starting and finishing in Ponte Gardena, the stage covers 107 km with an impressive 3,102 m of elevation gain, passing through the heart of Val Gardena and Alta Badia: Ortisei, Selva Val Gardena, Arabba, Corvara, and back again through the Dolomites.

⛰️ Along the way riders will climb some of the most legendary passes in cycling:
Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Passo Campolongo and Passo Gardena — a true classic of the Dolomites.

The adventure begins in the heart of South Tyrol with a spectacular opening stage of the Giro Dolomiti.

Starting and finishing at Bolzano Fair, riders will tackle 78.3 km with 1,646 m of elevation gain, riding through some of the most iconic Dolomite landscapes. The route passes through Prato Isarco, Aica, Tires, San Cipriano, and climbs towards the stunning Passo Nigra and Passo Costalunga, before descending via Nova Levante, Ponte Nova and Cardano back to Bolzano.
