People see the recovery.
They don’t see the preparation.
When people tell me, “You’re in great shape,” they’re usually looking at where I am today.
What they don’t see are the nine months that came before.
At 45, I chose to keep moving throughout my pregnancy—not to “stay fit,” but to support my body through one of the biggest transformations it would ever experience.
Every Pilates session was an investment.
An investment in strength.
In mobility.
In resilience.
In recovery.
After more than 20 years of teaching Pilates, one thing continues to be true:
The body remembers consistency. Not perfection.
I wasn’t exercising for pregnancy.
I was preparing for birth, recovery, and the years beyond.
Every pregnancy is different, and every postpartum journey is unique. But when movement is appropriate for you, it can become one of the greatest gifts you give yourself—not because it promises a certain outcome, but because it helps support your body through every stage of the journey.
If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or simply looking to feel stronger and more connected to your body, I’d love to help you discover what intentional movement can look like for you.
What is one small thing you’re doing today that your future self will thank you for?
