Registration for participating clubs of the EGCA Champions League 2027 is open now
Europe’s — and indeed the world’s — largest and highest-level club competition in goalball, the EGCA Champions League, will enter its 13th season next year. Registration for the 2027 season is now open, and clubs have until the end of November to sign up.

The season will consist of three Qualification Stages:
🇩🇪 18–21 February 2027, Rostock, Germany
🇵🇹 25–28 February 2027, Vila do Conde, Portugal
🇹🇷 25–28 March 2027, Bursa, Türkiye
followed by the Final Stage:
🇫🇮 15–19 September 2027, Espoo, Finland
A maximum of eight teams will be accepted for each Qualification Stage. The three best teams from each stage will advance to the Final Stage, joining the host club, Old Power.
This means that once again, a total of 25 of Europe’s top club teams will compete for the European title next season. ⚡️
The top three teams in the 2027 Champions League will also earn the right to represent Europe at the 2028 Goalball Clubs World Cup.

The Host Search for the 2027 EGCA Youth (U23) Championships Has Begun🏆
The fifth EGCA Youth (U23) Championships will be held in October–November 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity for your club to host a memorable goalball event in your hometown and give the future stars of goalball the chance to shine in front of your home crowd as they compete for the European Championship title.
Registration to become a host candidate is open until 31 October here: www.egca.info/host-egca-competition
On the same page, you will find the registration form as well as the requirements and responsibilities of the event organiser.
The EGCA Competition Committee will make its decision on the host in early November, and we hope to be able to announce the host of the 2027 EGCA Youth Championships during this year’s Youth Championships, which will be held in Antalya, Türkiye, from 5 to 8 November.

🧡💜 That’s a wrap in Rostock!

The EGCA Women’s Champions League 2026 has come to an end, and what a journey it has been 🤩

From the arrival of the teams on 19 August to the final whistle, Rostock became the meeting point for eight of Europe best women’s goalball clubs. Four days of competition, 24 games, countless goals and unforgettable moments 👁️

Congratulations to our champions, Old Power 🇫🇮, to Kahramanmaras 🇹🇷 and RGC Hansa Rostock 🇩🇪 for taking the medals, and to all eight teams for an incredible championship 🏆

A huge thank you to our partners and supporters, whose trust and contribution helped us bring this competition to life. Your support made a real difference 👑

To our referees, officials and volunteers, thank you for your commitment, professionalism and countless hours behind the scenes. This tournament would not have been possible without you 🙌
