Meet Pauli š°š
I was walking past his restaurant when he called me over and started telling me about the food.
There was just something about his energy.
Within about 30 seconds I thought, āI like this man, f**k it Iāll go in.ā
We ended up chatting for ages about Cambodia, Ireland and the differences between life here and in the western world
One thing he said really stuck with me.
āWe have so little here, but weāre happy.ā
He told me heād never left Cambodia and didnāt really have any desire for more.
If thereās food on the table, his family are good and he gets to meet people every day through his restaurant, heās happy.
Then he spoke about the Westerners he meets.
People who have so much more, but always seem to be chasing something else.
More money, More success, More things.
And when they finally get there... thereās always another mountain.
It was such a simple conversation, but a good reminder.
Thereās absolutely nothing wrong with wanting more from life.
But if youāre constantly telling yourself youāll be happy when you get the next thing...
You might spend your whole life chasing it.
Sometimes a good life is a lot simpler than we make it.
Good health, Good people, healthy Family & friends
We can all learn from people like Pauli š¤
