Spesso la sfida più grande non è l'impegno fisico, ma quel momento in cui decidiamo che meritiamo quel tempo per noi stesse.

Ormai dobbiamo capireche la vera forza non è una questione di muscoli o alimenti specifici, ma di testa. È quella piccola voce che, nonostante la stanchezza o gli impegni della giornata, ci spinge a non rinunciare a stare bene.

Quando decidiamo che possiamo farcela e che la nostra salute è una priorità, abbiamo già superato l’ostacolo più alto. Tutto il resto è solo la bellissima conseguenza di aver scelto noi stesse.

Continuiamo a muoverci, a darci valore e a dimostrare che non ci sono limiti quando decidiamo di volerci bene davvero. Forza, un passo alla volta!

A volte pensiamo di essere in ritardo.
Che dovremmo già essere in un altro punto della nostra vita, sentirci diverse, avere tutto sotto controllo.

Ma la verità è che ogni fase – anche quella più confusa – ha un senso.

La crescita non è sempre lineare.
Fidati del tuo ritmo. Fidati di te stessa.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔’𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝟒𝟎 ?

I always say that the older I get the better I get 🙂 Yes - just like a fine wine right?! So Turning 40 is actually great, but you might notice some changes in your body.
Maybe losing weight isn’t as easy, or you don’t have the same energy as before. That’s because your body is changing, and it’s all about hormones and other stuff happening inside you!

When you turn 40, hormones like estrogen (for women) start to change ( they drop) . Estrogen helps keep your body in balance, but as you get older, you have less of it.
This can make it easier to gain weight and harder to lose it.
Also, a hormone called ghrelin, which makes you feel hungry, can become more active. So, you might feel hungrier even when you don’t need more food!
So now is maybe the most important time to have a look at your nutrition!

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆:

1️⃣ Lean Proteins: Foods like chicken, turkey, and fish (like salmon) help keep your muscles strong and give you energy.

2️⃣ Whole Grains: Brown rice, quinoa, and oats are great because they give you lots of energy and fiber to help you feel full.

3️⃣ Fruits and Veggies: Spinach, kale, berries, and oranges are packed with vitamins and help your body fight off germs.

4️⃣ Healthy Fats: Avocados, nuts, seeds, and olive oil are good for your heart and help you feel full longer.

5️⃣ Dairy and Alternatives: Greek yogurt and plant-based milks like almond or soy milk are good for your bones and muscles.

And as I have talked about so many times - now is the time to start doing strength training if you havent already! Stay active - do what you really enjoy doing!
Hydration must be sport on 2 - 3 l daily to keep you body running.

So, while your body might be changing, eating these foods can help you stay strong, healthy, and full of energy.

Embracing Change: Your Path to a Better Life

Ever felt stuck, waiting for something to magically improve?

That is exactly what happenend to me when I took action on my weight and health - small changes with consistency helped me change and lose 30 kg!

Gratitude is the practice of recognizing and appreciating the positive aspects of life, acknowledging the good things we have and the kindness we receive from others. It's important to practice gratitude because it shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have, fostering a positive outlook.

Regularly expressing gratitude has been linked to improved mental well-being, increased resilience, and stronger relationships. It helps us find joy in everyday moments, reduces stress, and enhances our overall sense of happiness and contentment.

𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗘
Your Gratitude Practice (Great if you do it in the morning)

𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: Dedicate a few minutes each day to this exercise. It can be in the morning, before bed, or any convenient time.

✅ 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹: Choose a notebook or use a digital platform where you'll record your thoughts.
Reflect on the Positive: Write down three things you are grateful for. These can be simple, such as a sunny day, a friendly gesture, or good health.

✅ 𝗕𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰: For each item, be specific about why you're grateful. Instead of saying "family," you might write "appreciate my sister's support during a challenging day."

✅ 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲: As you write, try to evoke the emotions associated with gratitude. Feel the warmth and positivity connected to each entry.
