The mission of EUBC is to govern the sport of boxing in all its forms in Europe, as a Confederation, through the direction and guidance of IBA.

The European Boxing Confederation (EUBC) is the European governing body for boxing and is a member of the world governing body IBA. It came into existence on the adoption of its constitution on February 16, 2009, taking over the functions of the former European Amateur Boxing Association (EABA). The current President of the EUBC is Dr. Ioannis Filippatos, who was elected on April 30, 2022. There a

re 12 members on the Board of Directors, including the President and two Athletes Committee representatives.

🥊 The World Championships have begun in Dubai!

From 2–13 December, the world’s top boxers are fighting for glory at the IBA Men’s Elite World Championships — with a record-breaking prize pool of over USD 8 million.

Gold earns USD 300,000, silver 150,000, bronze 75,000, and even 5th place is rewarded.
Prize money is shared fairly: 50% for the boxer, 25% for the coach, 25% for the federation.

A global celebration of boxing is underway — let’s cheer on our athletes!
