WET SPRAY. A new challenge.
It all started with the success of KC001 BLOCK, our high-performance wax for wet snow.
After achieving outstanding results with KC001, World Cup ski technicians challenged us with a new request: could we develop another high-performance product for wet snow, but with a completely different application method?
It wasn’t going to be easy. Especially after setting the bar so high with KC001.
But we took on the challenge.
Two years of research, countless prototypes and extensive testing followed. We explored different materials, experimented with their combinations and fine-tuned every detail to find the perfect balance.
And finally, we got it.
Meet WET SPRAY – a brand-new addition to the STAR range, designed to work alongside KC001, not replace it.
A completely new formula in a pressurized spray system powered by compressed air – no propellant gas.
Spray and go. No brushing required.
Simply spray it onto the ski and leave it. A uniform, slightly oily film forms on the base, creating that unique sensation of a ski that stays wet.
Its excellent affinity with the ski base and other wax materials also allows it to be ironed together with any STAR wax.
Originally developed as a top-layer product, WET SPRAY offers different application possibilities depending on snow conditions and the technician’s approach.
The new formula delivers improved performance and longer durability on snow.
And when the ski meets wet snow, that’s when the real magic happens.
Two years of work, countless tests and a lot of passion, all leading to one new addition to our range.
