10 photos from the 2014 Arcevia 5k / 10K event.. held on 18 October, 2014; at 16:00 hours, in Arcevia, Regione Marche, Italia .. Marco Terenzi wins the 5K and Federico Dainese wins the 10K. I thank everyone for supporting me; I really believe everyone had a lot of fun, and the dinner at Il Rustico was wonderful.

This is where the inaugural Nine Castles running event will be held on Oct. 18th. Come you running pioneers. In future years you will want to have said you attended the first year!

Dear friends and runners,
Good news! The mayor of Arcevia has given his final permission for the Nine Castles running event to be held on Saturday, October 18 in Arcevia, Marche, Italy.

We have bought our plane tickets! Please continue to spread the word about the event.

Please, first, can you confirm your participation and let us know if you intend on running the 5K or 10K (those who originally chose to run the 42.2K distance will receive a refund minus the 10 euros for their new selection). Please also tell us if anyone needs help or advice with accommodation in Arcevia?

Where: Arcevia, Marche, Italy
Start: both the 5K and 10K will begin in the Piazza Garibaldi, Arcevia's central square
Date: Saturday, October 18th
Time: start times to be decided upon (I am planning for the afternoon)

We are so happy that we can organise a small but happy event in Year One; in future years, we hope that the event and Arcevia itself and its beautiful surroundings will capture the imagination of more runners. Thank you so very much for being among the Nine Castles running pioneers.
